im running win xp 64
it says it runs on win xp anyone had this problem?
Eh, I would assume it’s because you’re running it on 64 bit windows.
Hey guys, just wondering:
Are infs allowed in MB:AC at the SBO tournaments?
Good question.
Probably.
Was that a serious remark? O_o
There have been vids of people using 'em, so I guess so.
Yeah, but I need to find out if they are legal at SBO tournaments.
But yes, I’ve seen some vids were infs were done, even at popular jap tournaments.
You’ll just probably have to wait until the videos come out…
is there something unique with the gameplay of MB? so far it just looks like a GG clone with some SF3 elements.
not saying this to bash, i really wanna know.
reverse beat
its canceling a normal on block with a jab so it recovers faster.
i think~
Well, it doesn’t have to be a jab, but yeah. You can cancel into any normal from any normal move, not like in vs series and GG, where it has to be in weak-to-fierce order.
Computer version lets you choose how to throw/activate mode. And there’s whole gain life back thing but I don’t think they came up with it. Still, something different from GG and 3S.
Arcade version lets you stop time for a bit with mode activation.
You can buffer damage intake by pressing buttons the precise moment you get hit(that’s like 500 possible less damage you take when you’re comboed).
Plus I think it’s one of the best fighters ever when it comes to single player modes(well, the PC version), but whatever.
Btw shield bunker cancel and infinite loops are banned in Korean tournaments(pretty sure their common policy is like a maximum allowed set # of loops for any infinite loops for any games), if that makes any difference for you.
Booooo! no SBC, thats friggin’ whack.
No infintes?! how many non-shiki infinites are there in the game anyway, aside from arcs crazy-difficult one (vs most) and kohas semi-challenging one (vs most). hmmm, but there is that sion loop that hurts alot after only about 2 reps
Since when is any infinite banned, ever? Technicalities such as a character with an infinite being banned don’t count.
Shrug. No sbc = kouma goes back to the shitter from where he came.
Infinites in this game are degenerate as hell but no worse then any other fighting game with included infinites.
BOOOO.
Looks like they pushed it back to the 13th of July.
:\
Thats not terrible i guess, what with slash just coming out anyway.
Just as long as we still get it this summer…
I’m looking foward to it once it is out, try to start getting more people into it here in SoCal. Take care.
Ummm, I just started playing this. Really fun, feels like Guilty Gear/MvC2 but without all the broken stuff. The only person i plan on learning right now is Miyako. Any strats/combo’s for her?
Well to start you off I can tell you about her glitch throw.
The first throw you use on the opponent in the corner will always glitch (no pushback) allowing you to use a longer combo after.
To recreate the glitched throw after the first, force the opponent to block a stomp, then dash in and throw immediately after. As long as your next attack after the stomp is throw, you will get the glitched throw again. Someone who actually plays miyako can clarify if I missed something.
