Just don’t steer out of the Character and Mechanics forum, it’s a horrible shithole I have to moderate outside of it. You can also hit up IRC for netplay. Server/Channel I frequent for MBAC is on the pyoko irc server and channel #SRM.

Sure, but this guy said he wasn’t going to play it at all.
Then again I suppose it’s for the best, the PC gaming community doesn’t need more people like that. Hopefully he goes and gets the console version or something.

Don’t feel like making a Actress Again thread because I don’t deal with melty anymore but whatever. Here’s some scans of Actress Again.
Ok so I just started playing Melty Blood in the arcades around here and I"m enjoying it very much! I want to get it on my PS2 but there’s only the JPN version of it and I don’t have a JPN PS2 (and don’t want to do the swap trick and mess up my PS2; did it with the PS1 and it messed my system up). I also saw that its out for the PC but only in Japan; if I was to buy the game for PC will it work on a US PC as well? I really want to get this game and get better at it instead of always having to go to the arcades to play it (no one really plays it at my arcade anyway). Anyone have any suggestions on what to do? Or do they have a US PS2 version of the game that I don’t know anything about? Help!!! lol

PS2 version is outdated and not really played anymore.
Japanese PC version will play on a US PC and is the most up to date version.
Appreciated thanks! I’ll order my copy today! Any of you guys even still play it at all? I know I’m kinda late on everything I just started playing fighting games again and so far I’m feeling Arcana Heart, Melty Blood and KOF 98 UM:rock:

There’s still tourneys going on for it. The Melty Hype is too strong.
For real? It seems no one plays it around here in SoCal; like I said when I went up to FFA last weekend I was the only person playing it (which was good for my first time trying to get into the game lol). I’ll have to check the boards around in my area to see if anyone around here plays it as well:rock:
yea, there are still a ton of ppl that play. there are live tourneys at most majors, as well as a ton of ppl that play on netplay online. i would consider MeltyBread and the MeltyBread Forums the official home of melty blood. theres also a lot of matchmaking on irc. theres prolly a few channels but im most familiar with #mbac on efnet.
and actually, socal might be the most active melty locale in the US. their ‘west toast’ series of tourneys has featured melty for a while now.

I really should play this game more, my main man Kouma slams faces in to the ground.I guess I’ll try to get cowcaster and troll up #mbac for some matches sometime soon.
I do need to get new converters though, last C3 I played this at some guy was bitching about my converters lagging. I think it was because I beat him, but maybe he was right. I haven’t touched it since then so I don’t know.
tl;dr: WHERE I GET GOOD CONVARTER
Play-Asia for converters. The latest MB looks interesting I might get back into this series.

HA HA this is the second day this week I’ve been called a racist without actually saying anything racist.
But seriously though, no one uses her. They actually want to win when they play this game
Luckily for me I’m not a tier-whore. I just pick characters based on things that don’t even attribute to the fight, like how cute a character is, or how they talk. In White Len’s case, they couldn’t of made her a playable character anytime sooner :bgrin:
