Black people became fully equal in 1965. Not really that long ago, they’re still being raised by people who had to live through segregation (integration wasn’t smooth either). They’re fearful of white people. It’s complicated and will only diminish over time.
Since white people get butthurt about this double standard. I very much doubt anyone in their families had to endure anything close to what a black person (in this country) has had to deal with. They had to “deal” with slavery and segregation. I think white people can deal with this.
