So I go to UMBC and just found this thread. Are these fight meetups still going on? If so, when’s the next one?
Also, would it be particularly noob-friendly? I mean like, guy who’s been playing SF4 for about a week noob. I’m definitely interested in going further down the rabbit hole, but I understand if these are “get some good matches in” meetups and not “try to help a noob get better” meetups.
Every wednesday in the gameroom (which is in the commons). From when ever people get there to when the commons kicks people out. Bring your own controller. Don’t be afraid to ask questions or whatever. Games also happen randomly during the week. Get to know some of the people who live on campus.
