Ive had this conversation with James already, he thinks he’s right too. I know the contrary. Let me see if I can explain it, either way though, this is my last post on this topic. Shit is done to me, in every way.
See, you guys have this preconceived concrete notion of what money games are, when in actuality youre wrong. I know people that do money games all the time. Duc and Viscant would do $20 games all the time, back and forth, pay up at the end of the night.
Again, refer to Syndicate money betting thread. Money is bet every week in NY. Some of those games are when niggas is heated or whatever, but for the most part of those guys are all cool. You win, you lose, whatever. It really adds another level on intensity to the game, obviously. Its just that, you can ALWAYS say “well no money was on the line so I really don’t care about this shit”, which is true. So money adds that extra bit of weight, that unmistakable unretractable asswhuppin status. It makes it count.
You throw up money for various reasons…crushing egos can be one of them, but if you look back, that wasnt particularly my original intent. I know Pete is a shit-talker anyway, it was always in good fun or whatever, but he just got too damned disrespectful…a little too big for his britches, while I was completely aware that he couldn’t fill them shoes he was walking in. I put up the money bet just to show him what’s what. At that point we were still cool, no big deal. Money games ARE casual. I played a money set with Isaac right afterwards, lost my 10 bucks. Whatever. Were cool, Ill get him back later.
Anyway, you guys have got the wrong idea anyway. See, I didnt post because Pete backed out of the bet. Ask Isaac. I wasnt originally GOING to post after the event, except for that one little meaningless paragraph. Nothing malicious. I wasn’t mad about Pete backing out of the bet. Obviously I wasnt mad if I let him back out. I didnt care man, he’s just a kid, a newbie, a scrub. That was my point, and regardless of whether I won or he backed out (me losing is just not an option) that point is proven.
What really pissed me off is that he still had the nerve to talk shit afterwards. Thats what did it…and what REALLY pissed me off is the straight up disrespectful fucking manner he has the nerve to use my name. “Someone like Christian”. Da FUCK? Someone like me? Please niggas like me gave birth to kids like him. FUCK him. After that is when I really had to set the record straight. Now, just in case I didnt make it clear, it was a casual money match, originally. Those DO exist, although it doesnt matter to me if you old-heads dont want to believe it. Im just kidding about that old-heads remark, btw . It was all cool, I didnt care about playing casual matches with Pete, I didnt really care about the money, I had a point to make about his level of skill, to make him see it more than anyone else. Anyway, you can say “its” our fault, but I dont know what it “it” is. Again, I dont care about him backing out, I didnt then and I dont now. That doesnt mean it doesnt make him a bitch though. When me and shinshay had our money matches do u remember what happened? He came in with his peeps my peeps were there as soon as he walked in the door he gave a neutral party his money someone already had my money. So after that we played we didn’t say any words until after it was over thn we were cool. Thats the purose of money games prove a point raise the intensity level.
