Norfolk, VA Old Dominion University Tournament
Alright, sorry for the delay. It was a real headache trying to set up a fighting game tournament at Old Dominion University, but here’s all the information about the tournament.
What: Marvel vs. Capcom 2 Tournament
When: Saturday, March 22. 6:30 pm
Where: Old Dominion University Webb Center
Virginia Beach Room
(It’s upstairs on top of the Pizza Hut/Taco Bell Area)
(If you still can’t find it, ask the Information Desk)
The entry fee for this tournament is $5. This is a fundraiser for charity. All proceeds will go to benefit the American Cancer Society, therefore, a portion of the entry fee will not go to the winner. Instead, prizes will include either DVDs, movie tickets, gift certificates, etc.
Tournament Rules: Double elimination, timed. You can only pick the same character once. In other words, you can’t have a team with 2 or 3 Cables. Game will be played on the Dreamcast on a projector screen about the size of the wall. Regular Dreamcast Controllers will be provided, but you can bring your own if you want to.
Once you are registered, you will draw a random number to determine your spot on the tournament chart.
