Yeah when I used to cometo white marsh eeryone would get mad because I played cheap or so you called it and the extent of cheapness when I started going there was pete doing a triple team with bbhood,dhamslim and cyclops and the akuma assist.
Lol, that was the old days. We only thought that Towson players were cheap because they would always get us in guard stuns and shit… and we wouldn’t be able to get out of them… we’d just let them drain our lives… Haha.

Norfolk, VA Old Dominion University Tournament
ODU Tourney Info
All the details for this tournament will be finalized by the end of this week. As for now, here is what the plans are:
There will be a total of 6 tournaments for the following games:
- Marvel vs. Capcom 2
- Capcom vs. SNK 2
- Tekken Tag Tournament
- Tekken 4
- Super Smash Brothers Melee Singles Tournament
- Super Smash Brothers Melee Team Tournament
The tournaments will be held at the Old Dominion University Webb Center. The room has not been confirmed yet, but it is certain that it will not be held in the game room. The screen we are using will be a projector screen about the size of the wall. The games will be played as follows: Capcom games on the Dreamcast, Tekken on PS2, and of course, Smash on the Cube. Regular controllers will be provided for each system, but you are welcome to bring in your own. Each tournament will be double elimination until the last round. Entry fee is $5. This tournament is a fundraiser charity so all proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society, so a percentage of the collected money will not be given out to the winners of each tournament. Instead, prizes will be either movie tickets, gift certificates to game stores, DVDs, things like that. The tournaments will most likely be held during the week, at 6 pm on Mon, Wed, and Fri. Each tournament will be held on a separate day, so this will be a two week event. The WEBB center is booked on weekends so there is no way to hold them on SAT or SUN. I’m thinking of starting it on the 17 and ending on the 28th of March. This is the schedule I’m setting so far:
Mon 17th - Marvel
Wed 19th - SNK
Fri 21st - Smash (singles)
Mon 24th - Tekken Tag
Wed 26th - Tekken 4
Fri 28th - Smash (teams of 2)
These are the plans so far, the rules will all be finalized a week before each tournament. Just look out for the posts. Oh, by the way, refreshments will be served to competitors. A sign up sheet will be out soon so I can get a rough estimate of the number of participants. This tournament is open to anyone, you don’t have to be a student. As for now, that’s all I can think of. I probably forgot to go over some things, so if there’s any more questions, just keep posting or E-mailing. My AIM screen name is: jinogears.

Yeah but sticks suck just letting you know. Most of the times though we like go over someone’s house to play after we get mad at the sticks.

This was possibly the best weekend ever. Joe cheating at monopoly, joe getting drunk and playing mvc2, everyone going to adams and betting on other people playing mvc2, too beastly .
uhhh this weekend was strange. i didn’t think i was doing anything last night until i went to british pop night at the ottobar. i got so drunk and hooked up with someone who i’d swore disliked me. all in all a very strange weekend. oh yeah and im still drunk
