Btw I watched DJ beat Street Fighter 1. Sagat is ridicuous and that game is so bad. Supers have no set damage and sagat did 2 moves and killed him.
He did a shoryuken one round that did 3/4 of a life bar lol.
SF1 is the REAL Street Fighter. Sagat smacked your grill once or twice and the round WOULD be over for real, Ryu’s maybe 150 soaking wet with a gi stuffed full of horseshoes. Jin still beasting 3S in the basement?
And @wonderer, x30 is to be avoided unless you play CounterStrike, the staff there doesn’t see or hear you if you aren’t there for CS or maybe C&C. They all but chased me out of there the last time I asked them about a fighting game, and they basically told me they didn’t want me or anyone to show up for Guitar Hero, of all things, because it would be taking up space that could be occupied by CounterStrike. As if more than 5 people would come out for the game anyway, shit I’d just like to play the game with someone who can actually hit the blue fret.
So is that what X30 is reduced to? Not surprising seeing that a lot of the old staff from last year probably isn’t there anymore any ways. Last year they were sponsoring Evo and now they dont want anyone playing anything that’s not Counter Strike on a PC. That place is very cramped any ways and wasn’t really designed with console gaming in mind. They just randomly fit flat screen tv’s in the middle of the joint just to bring the Halo scrubs who cant get on Xbox Live anymore. I’d LOL if they still have those DDR mats I remember they used to have. I can see them telling people to stop playing and find a gym to suscribe to.
Oh and yes, I’m still beasting on scrubs in my basement tournaments. Haven’t done well in a real tournament situation in a while. I’ve pretty much been going to tourneys just to stay in practice if anything. I wont even be able to make the next C3 since it’s Father’s Day weekend and family will have to come first that weekend. I’ll try to see if I can head up the bi weekly NC tourney at the end of the month.
