If you had nothing to do with Charles’s tournament even though it’s old news by now, and you really don’t know the whole story, then SHUT THE FUCK UP about it and stop talking shit about the man when you don’t have the balls to do it to his face, obviously.

mm an idea just came to me… im thinking of holding a house tourney maybe august 5th (if thats good for enough people, if not i can always change it) if i can get enough interest from people…
the games that will be hosted MvC2/3s/CvS2… and MvC2 low tier tounrey will be held too if interested (ill get the rules for it later)… NO VENUE FEE!! all games 5$ entry fee payouts 60/30/10 unless there is under 8 people in which case 70/30
Side tournies to include(but not limited to)
Rock-paper-scissor tourny - 5$ entry split 70/30
Poker tourney - 10$ buy-in first game 20$ for second (if 2nd is held) 1 place paid per 4 people.
you can order pizza if ur hungry or goto 711 a mile away i dont care… youre also welcome to bring booze and hot chicks.
ALL feedback is welcome and will be considered, especially side tournies… I will need some support from the people with consoles and a few tv’s (ill try to reward you)
Also I have a projector that will be used for ALL semi-final/final matches if both players agree (its kinda on a shitty sheet for a screen right now but its still decent)

I will run brackets in the fairest manner i see fit for a good tourney, and to ensure this I will ask for some help from people that know their game and the people that play it (since i really only know how good marvel people are)… so if you will its type of a seeding bracket…

Yeah…sucks I couldn’t make it cuz it was Father’s Day and all of that. I guess you could say people like to see me win cuz I’m decent with a character that is rare in tournaments. I don’t know about being the favorite to win (except amongst my MC crew of course) but I know people like to watch the Shinobi hurt people. It has been a dream of mine (as cheesy as it sounds) to win a local tournament before Evo this year. Anything to gain respect for the ninja. :nunchuck:

I also like to play Guilty Gear, KOF and Super Turbo/Hyper SF 2. Unfortunately…I haven’t got a chance to practice up in Slash lately since I’m always busy with my other guys after work so I haven’t got a chance to play more casuals with Gwyrgyn Blood. My brother is a big Guilty Gear guy as well but now that KOF XI is out and we’re still trying sparring a lot in 3S casuals…it’s hard to fit Guilty Gear in as well.
Especially considering there’s a lot about that game I still have to learn. I didn’t do too bad at the last tournament despite getting kicked around in the Slash round robin. Gave Moose’s Potemkin a run for his money which is good enough for me. Love slaying big monsters with little ninjas in fighting games. I like how I picked Chipp at the character select screen and he was like “are you seriously gonna pick him?” I just said…“yeah”. People can’t sleep on Chipp in Slash…he’s good now. I love Guilty Gear. It’s like MVC2 without all the retartedness. Once I got into 3rd Strike the whole SF on PCP and crack Saturday Morning cartoon gameplay of MVC2 just didn’t appeal to me anymore. I do love my old school SF as well.
I just plain suck at CVS2 and hardly anyone plays it anymore any ways so that’s not an option for me and I just can’t stand CVS2. Haven’t got a chance to chill with Koop in a while to practice up in it either so that throws me off even more. My bro and I won’t touch the game unless someone else comes over that wants to play it. Too busy with 3S, Slash and now XI.
