Adams Morgan is full of great bars, but not so many clubs. Most of the places there are the kind of places you go to hang out or chat it up with girls, not to get drunk and freaky on the dance floor with girls, which is what I take a club to be. If you want clubs, Dupont Circle is probably better.
There are gay bars in Dupont, yeah. If you’re not gay, don’t go into those. I guarantee you won’t get molested.
PS I found out after I moved into my new house on 17th Street that 17th Street is the center of the gay world on the east coast. I think it’s great; with so many gay guys around, I have no competition for the straight girls.
