C3 was really fun. Robin knows how to throw a really good tourney, and C3 is a good venue. A casuals room (I saw Mario Tennis in there, which unfortunately, I never played). There were plenty of stations and Red Bull! I definitely look foward to the next C3 monthly and hope more people will show up for it.
Which brings me to my only gripe, there were only about 14 people for 3rd strike. There’s a lot of faces that didn’t show up this time around. Meh, that’s ok. I think if I had to choose one local tourney to go to, however, I’d definately choose C3.

C3 kicked ass this weekend. Cool owner and great facility. Pete, Ken, and the Spanish Mafia were cool as shit. I ended up playing more poker than video games but I had a lot of fun. Yesterday made me realize that I hate CvS2 and that I wanna get tournament worthy in GGXX Slash. CvS has always been my main game, but after seeing how slow paced and crouching fierce friendly it is, i think i’m done with it. Low tiers and doing random shit doesn’t cut it in high level play unfortunately.
I’m still waiting on my modded ps2 and ggxx slash (dont order from modchipsource.com they take fucking 4ever) but I hope I can start learning it with everyone else that is looking to move on to a different game.
and yes, pocket rockets suck.

C3 was fun, despite GG round robin being totally stupid(why RR for 11 people? give someone a fucking bye and do double elim as usual).
GGs to everyone I played in GG, best part of the night was when that shitty Pote player was getting pissed off at me because I was being a dick to him and doing nothing but S VV all day with Sol. He called me a scrub too,

Aaron taught me how to play 3S in 5 minutes, LOL. Now I just need lessons from Eric K and I’m good to go =P
