Hey guys. I posted this in the Northern Virginia thread, but in case you don’t look there, I’m coming to Washington DC for school in late August and I’m looking to play. A guy in the other thread said that it’s mostly console gaming there, which is fine, I have a couple of sticks. I play 3S and ST, and I also dabble in Tekken 5 and CvS2, but I’m willing to learn and play anything. How often do you guys get together? Anyone actually live in DC? I won’t have a car, so I’ll be depending on public transportation and the kindness of strangers to get around.

DC has a metro system you can use. As far as arcades go, there’s an arcade in City Place Mall (Silver Spring) that is very accessible through Metro. It has 3S and SF:AE (only ones worth noting) – However, competition is very lacking. If you want, you can probably talk to people around here in order to set something up. I’ll be happy to throw down some games w/ you.
