Raven Zwei is in wheaton and he offered his house. If we bring a couple setups with us, it’ll be just as good as X3o, with the added incentive of being FREE.

Dikrodnum was also talkin about opening up his place, and he already has 2 amazing setups. Its in Woodbridge, so its kind of a drive, but Protoman is near there and hes been coming to x3o. I don’t see why we can’t go down there (other than not having a car… like me heh)

BB is more sensible then GGAC. No unblockables into unblockables. No losing 80% off a jab. No uncounterable horizontal DP that’s safe on block, and kills you on hit. The risk/reward in BB is much saner. GGAC, some matchups have some skewed ass risk/rewards.
Whatever damage you take, in BB, you probably deserve it. And whatever damage you dish, you probably earned it. (unless you’re Noel; hello upscaling)
But if you don’t like dodging a bunch of projectiles, then the current iteration of BB might not be for you. I guess wait for them to nerf v13, Rach, and Ara. And I guess Noel, while they’re at it. Or you can play Taokaka, the anti-zoner.
BB’s rough around the edges, but the core is there and is awesome. I think BB is comparable to GG#r. Maybe somewhere between GG#r and GGslash.
I played (on my second day) for about 4-5 hrs with some of the best in the area and I got a few rounds in, but they Worked me. I am grateful for that ass whooping. Now I know what needs to be done from not only playing them, but them telling me what needed/s to be done in these match-ups.

Rose is a tough choice if you’re trying to place highly in tournaments with her. If you’re using her to play some rounds of SFIV with the guys…I like her. Her pokes are really good so she doesn’t need to jump a whole lot. Her AA game needs some work though. Plus without super she does crap for damage combo wise and her Ultra is a Sham…wow.
honastly of ur doing something it may be better. i dont like to drive too much but i also dont have a lot of room.
my only consern is if there will be some sf4 casuals and if im aloud to drink beer. where do u live anyway?
I think my place is good to go with sessions. It’s only like 10 minutes away from X3O
though actually saturday is a bit of a no go for me, lolololol. Maybe it’ll set precedent for future though
i forgot about the drinking, people can actually drink at peoples house, they can’t at the LAN center.
Like someone mentioned earlier, I’m having a gathering at my place on Friday. I’ve got the one big TV in the living room, but I can get the 27 inch from the bed room if we want more setups. Only have the one 360 though, so if we do that, someone needs to bring an extra console.
I have BB, SF4, HDR, Garou, umm… HF (lol) freaking puzzle fighter, etc. And drinking is most definitely allowed at my place.
Up to you guys really. Someone mentioned in one of the 400 MD/VA threads about doing something during the day on friday as well for those of us that don’t have to work on that day.
