Sorry for getting back to you on this so late. I just now tried it.
The new nFBA is legit, no emulation-based input delay for CPS(q-sound) games, so the new P2P + nFBA should be strait/perfect for 3S online. Basically we should be able to play with NY, FL and East Coast Canada very comfortably now with only very minor lag. Not sure how it would run for like cross-country or anything but at least for East Coast it should be good. Looks like it supports a lot of other games too, hmm…
I’ll give it an online test run with some one in NY soon.

I just tried it online with some one in NY.
The latest P2P client doesn’t seem to work, so I had to use the older one. The older one plus nFBA worked, but it was having some weird issues, though it ran ok for the most part. The person I was playing with prefers fullscreen instead of windowed mode, but it’s only available as a toggle not a setting, so when he toggled it it causes some weird shit to happen.
Seems like the FPS was bouncey in general which I don’t think is supposed to happen.
But, I’m going to try it again either later or tomorrow to test some settings out and see if I can get it running correctly/smoothly.
oh…i use the default one it comes up with, doesnt bother me.
as for the new client not working, you’re talking about the january 28th one? i played a lot of people just fine on it…thats strange it wouldnt work for you. whats the problem? did you try to see if it works if your opponent or you hosts if one didnt work?

worked decently for me, havent tried online, but it runs WORLDS better than mame.
and a little better than nebula imo.
