I got beat by DSP in the first round, and a lot of it was to do with having to use someone else’s stick due to it being the DC version. (Not saying he wouldn’t have won otherwise.)
But ST stopped mattering after that. :tdown:
I think this tournament is the first of MANY examples that DC ST is not the “answer” the ST community has been looking for. I’ll give a more detailed post in the C3 results thread, but I had several people come up to me who I had never even met, saying they agreed with my stance 100% that DC ST is garbage and we need to stop listening to NKI.
To answer the major question of how I did, after playing casuals for 2 hours and finding three drastically different issues from arcade ST, I opted to play in the tournament and go random select every round. So I lost, hard. Will give more details later.

As stated, we’ll address this at a later date. Also, I just found out that the reason ST was played on Saturday night instead of Sunday as stated earlier in this thread, might have been due to the request of one single individual. Keep in mind the event didn’t start until 8pm with no forewarning.
