so when you say:
SF4, Marvel, SFxT, Tekken, SCV, KoF, Persona, GG, BB, MK9, Injustice Pools Begin - Noon (New pools will start every 2 hours, so 12, 2, 4, 6pm)
I assume you have the two lists corresponding to each other, IE
SF4: 12
Marvel 2
etc
Sorry, was writing that at work, didn’t have time to be explicit. Those games will all start at the same time and run with a pool system. For example:
Street Fighter 4 has 16 pools, each having 16 players, max 256 players
Pools 1-4 will start at 12
Pools 5-8 will start at 2
Pools 9-12 will start at 4
Pools 13-16 will start at 6
Same applies for Marvel. Games like SFxT, Injustice, MK9, which will probably have less than 128 players, will only run 2 pools at a time, on the same schedule. If you pre-register, I can ensure that you won’t have to play two games at the same time since your pools will be created beforehand.

Will any game on ps3 change to xbox prior to the tournament date?
Marvel, SF4, and SFxT will be on 360. I believe that’s reflected on the website, I’ll double check on all forum posts.

At Final Round 16, the rules for Tekken Tag 2 were 2/3 matches for pools, but 3/5 matches after pools (aka Top 64). Will ECT be using the same ruleset?

It still says that most games will be on PS3 at the tournament on the registration page.
This is really disappointing, as I’m not sure I’ll be able to play in the event now. I only just realized I’d be in town for the event and thankfully I checked these forums before just registering or else I’d be screwed.

The $30 registration fee ($45 at the door) is just to attend the event, regardless of whether or not you’re participating, right?
Also, is there a roster published anywhere of who will be playing?
If you’re just spectating, it’s $20 for the weekend. The pools will be posted a week before the event with the full roster.

There was some confusion about the bonus prize from One Frame Link. Here’s a more clear explanation:
$2000 SF4
$2000 Marvel
$1000 Injustice
$1000 to the game that has the most entries, EXCLUDING SF4, Marvel, and Injustice. So that means MK9 could get it, KoF13, SCV, Persona, any other game except the 3 already getting the bonus prize from OFL.
Also, Injustice will be on Xbox 360 as mentioned on the front page and our social media accounts.
