Match Up tip needed: Akuma VS Blanka

Although I do have a few number of matchups I struggle in, none of those are as bad as Blanka. I’m not sure if this is supposed to be a bad matchup for Akuma, but I’d love to have some tips against any top Akuma players that have a lot of Blanka experience.

Your worst match-ups!

I play a couple of really solid Blankas and used to find the match overwhelming. Shit Blankas are a piece of cake and an army in the thousands, but skilled and dirty Blankas are nightmarish. The following has helped me get a firmer handle on the matchup: - Get it into your head that Blanka essentially has a sweep reach with over 1/3 the screen’s width (slide). patience in this matchup helps , typical akuma mixups dont really work on blanka… so do be over aggresive on his wake up

The simple answer, You have to be lame as hell. No joke this match up is a 100% lame out fest. Neither character can really play their game well against the other.
