I definitely need way more work on the Rufus and Bison matchup; I hadn’t played a good Super Bison until running into Hugo, and I’m convinced that match is almost 7-3 in Bison’s favor due to the fact that Bison has constant pressure, easy escapes and can beat Vega’s footsie game by guessing correctly into a knockdown.
In this match at 2:36, did you do cr.hk or cr.mk?! it looked to me as though you canceled your slide to a grab…like wtf?!
I’m sure it was cr.mk to lower your hitbox but damn, i was like wtf?!
Yeah that was a c.MK. Weird as hell because I was fully crossed up after recovery frames, so I turned around.
So Arlieth you’re a better player than me but I did wonder why you got hit with c.short so many damn times after a blocked EX psycho crusher. Something I’m missing? Or was it just a recurring brain fart? (I have those sometimes. One time I let a Claw (in a mirror match) do three cosmic heel tick throws to me in a row. Terrible brain fart that was.)
Some casual matches of me against my friends. It was a relaxing night with lots of shittalking and giggling on the party (you can see me eating a lot of fireballs when I was cracking up XD). At some rounds, I felt like I was riding the wave like Makoto (like that one round in the last match) and I concentrated a lot.
Some stuff worked, others didn’t (like Izunas, goddamn) that day. Those are farewell sets to my days as a pad player. I will be switching now, and my stick will arrive soon.

Some are saying Blanka Claw is now 5-5. I still don’t believe it, and seeing makoto having that tough of a time reinforces my belief.
It still an uphill battle, albeit not Claw’s worst.

from what i saw, makoto’s execution and timing for punishes and safe jumps were really off, and half the time he wasn’t even blocking the right way. i mean, i normally dislike stroking makoto’s dick, but he just seemed pretty out of it. on a good day, makoto would have bodied this guy. it could have been online lag for all we know, or maybe he was just messing around a little. why’d he choose ultra 1 again? in any case, i wouldn’t take that video so seriously (especially if you’re going to bring up matchup discussion of all things)
that’s actually kind of been what’s bugging me lately. a lot of the time when i’m just screwing around online, testing and learning stuff and fucking around basically, i’ll happen to lose a match and people will post some replay of me losing a ranked battle on youtube as if it actually meant something

ps: vega vs blanka being 3-7 is old news. sure, maybe it’s not 5-5 but tbh it stopped being a threatening matchup about 6 months after vanilla came out. there are scarier characters to worry about fighting. blanka is not one of them.
