Yeah, he hates srk-spamming Kens so he only ever uses srk in combos. I respect him for it + I used to bait out SRK reversals on him like mad when we both were really new to sf4.

Hey Joz, I’m super excited for your video, but I was wondering is it just a combo video or like tutorial video?
I recently stumbled upon One Handed Terror’s ( a really good Chun player) YouTube page and was super impressed by his tutorial videos for Chun Li. Specifically, I thought his match up video against Balrog was fantastic: [media=youtube]KqjsI4ciG2g[/media]
It would be amazing if someone on the board could do the same thing for Vega as well as have tutorials for BnBs, setups, and other advanced techniques.
I would do it myself, but I’m only G2B so I don’t think I’m quite the expert.

@ eddiemczee it’s a combo video, i’d make a tutorial video but with super on the horizon i’ll probably just wait. once super comes out, and hopefully this new ultra has combo potential, i’ll probably make another combo video and a tutorial video.

I already have a couple songs in mind.
one is “fallout” by Lareine, a japanese band, and I pick this one cause the lead singer is totally a real life vega. on all the album covers it’s only him, major close up style, looking all effeminate and shit, juts like Vega. he must think he is really beautiful. Narcissistic to the core! plus fallout is a sick sick song
the other is “force your way” from FF8. best boss music ever, it’s such good damn battle music.
other than that, maybe a spanish mars volta song (l’via l’vaquez) paying homage to vega’s nationality, or some other FF song that rocks hard, but considering my music tastes, it has to rock hard, cuz anything else usually juts won’t do. right now i’m probably going to use fallout. it’s just so sick! i’ve been on a lareine kick lately.
EDIT: I’d go for a Vega theme (Spittin Narcissism!) but I want to try something a little more personal but still fitting for Vega and SF.

i think it’ll be different, i have some tricks of my own that he doesn’t show here and also i do alot of those RCF combos but more variations and more 1 frame links in them using as many moves as possible pretty much
and some character specific link combos, and generally lots of combos with multiple 1 frame links
the light ST into EX sky claw makes me wonder if light ST into ultra would even be possible
but im guessing its not

Just realized I recorded all the combos w/ the game music on, but i’m just gonna say fuck it, leave all the sound in, and drown out the game music w/ the layered track. You can’t hear it at all anyway once the music is on but you can still here the claw souns and etc.

1.does the izuna drop do zero stun damage or what?it just occured to me that even people who loose 80% of their health in an izuna loop never get dizzied.
2.what is your ideal method to bail out of a tiger knee trap?cause once trapped,the only method i use is to trade with an ex sc or something of that sort.
Ya my bad; it was only working when they screwed up the timing of the lk hit… Hmm guess i dont know what to do

I usually just try to wait for an opening but if i get impatient a backdash usually makes you airborne for enough to make him reset you and mess up his timing.
A lot of japanese players do this. After the reset, they do cr.lp -> EX FBA out of trouble. But, oh well. Laxlight, how about reading the matchup guide?
