i’m still working on it
only 2 combos left to put in but they are so damn hard
i’ve already spent like 2 hours trying to do them so i have to force myself to try again lol
but it’ll be done soon enough
hey guys this guy uploaded a video of me, i looked it up on youtube, i guess it was when i first started to main vega because i only had about 5k gp anyway its a pretty good video i dunno i guess i could use some critique but i have gotten better over time…

Wow, that guy was funny. “Stop that!”, “I blocked that!”, etc. Anyway…
Use less non-EX SHC. You can get in some serious trouble really quick. I would also go easy on the FBA unless you’re really good at landing the Izuna. High risk if it’s blocked right or Focused.
Use more pokes. Put pressure on your opponent into making mistakes. Cr. mp, St. mk, Cr. mk, the usual stuff. You could also try working in some Df. hk shenanigans.
You should also take your time while playing if you’re given the chance. In the second round (and the third) it appeared as though you really wanted the chip kill so you started playing recklessly and you took some unnecessary damage. You should try to keep your cool in those situations and let the opponent take the risks. You have the lead, just play smart. There’s no point in making a gamble that could lose you the round/match, especially when you’re winning.
Those are my recommendations. Good luck.
thanks I appreciate that, like I said, this was way in the beginning when i first decided I was going to main vega, I think i play a bit better now, Im almost at G1 and coming to this site has helped me improve my claw so I thank you guys for it, and please I encourage any of you to add me on PSN just mention SRK, I could use some more training…
You play a flowchart vega… <3
LOL!!! keep in mind this was Thanksgiving weekend… I hope ive gotten better heheh…

The most boring ‘cat & mouse’ I’ve ever seen.
Not to mention, my only match on the streamed TV AFTER is started streaming. lol
Oh yeah, and I dropped SO many combos that day. I only choke when it matters.
Hmm, Gief can’t punish a fully blocked RCF with ultra; knowledge is power. Good match.
On a side note, have you ever been able to crouching strong/slide a Zangief far round-house?
Here is Jozhear as Vega replay against a Rufus.

not the best of replays
late night blazin + street fighter = ???
music was dope though
Haha, you both played terrible lol. Guess it was just another game late in the night hahaha. I too play like this at late hours :'DDD
Yeah agreed, you know he wasn’t a bad Rufus when all is said in done, he did SOME smart stuff… but ya this was at like 2 AM or something and apathy sets in
the best part was this was indeed a G1 final. imagine who I beat to get here lmao
people still play champ mode huh?
^ nothin else to do usually
@view 619
I’ve gotten hit with that ultra mid roll.
Yeah, there’s a reversal window (about 1 frame) between the last rolling strike and the claw strike. I was talking about RCF on block after the claw strike (as seen in the vid).
Against C14’s Blanka. This match felt more like a game of chess. (My camera sucks)

for starters, stop flipping and stay grounded.
playing like that would get you killed against a good blanka.
Uhh no. I play an extremely aggressive, mind game type Vega. I don’t care about technique anymore. Once SSFIV comes out, I’ll go back to that.
