you do know that part where you where next to the wall and he spamed elec into grab? well at that range a simple cr.lk will beat out electricity since the hit box for that move is the tip and he doesnts extend much.
I was so close i didn’t want to try it.
I often used the c.lk during the match.
But there, it would have been a free hit for him.
no it wouldnt had been. because you move your leg just enough to hit whatever is in front in you. Oh and when faced with elec that close if it isnt touching you then c.lk will always win no mater how close. If you block elec then the move pushes you far enough where you can counter with your light kick. never fear that green bastard once you get over his gimmicks this match up is always in your favor.
Nope,you are wrong. Only yesterday i was figuring out ranges of Blanka’s electricity in training mode. If he gets to you just slightly out of electricity block range,then cr.lk will get stuffed. The only way out for Vega will be wall leap out of there.
wrong. if he uses fierce then yes you might get stuffed, but i always react and use cr.lk when super close and i never trade. either you are in what i call the wtf position or you are spacing yourself wrong. The wtf position is a place where you touch the lightning (youre in it) but it does nothing to you. but if you move or punch you get hurt. and clearly he wasnt in that position in the video, and that was light which is easy to stuff with cr.lk regardless postiton

when you where testing the range for elec did you use vega or another character? since Vega’s hitboxes’s are so diffrent from other characters

in training mode see those little squares, well that’s a marker for spacing, 1 square = 1. so tell me how far you have to be from the actual elec for it to hit you and stuff cr.lk
