Look at my previous post. Those videos are taken by Bandicam. High quality and free. But it puts that Bandicam.com badge there. Was no problem for me.

I even quoted your post to make you see and comment on those videos, seeing you only have seen my bad matches due to Analyse thread. It took 6 hours for fucking Youtube to upload videos in this quality. I guess YogaFlame and the uploaders have 1 TB connection speed, uploading that frequent lol.

huh? If it’s in the match analysis thread I’ve seen and completed it. I vaguely remember seeing a post saying you were going to put them up but i dont remember seeing the actual videos
Edit: nvm see them now. yeah you do a lot better. You still resorted to random wall dives, and you still need to learn walk up block. But other than that, nice job on not spamming crouch tech, backflipping, and doing too many unsafe things. You need to space your sweeps better but it’s nowhere as bad as it used to be.
Also… not to be mean but your opponents were crap. If you cant block a straight non-crossover jump in, then you deserve to lose.
Yeah, the Guile and Cody are not that good although I don’t know how that Cody gained that much points. He is the 6th. And I have played many Codys better than him.
But the Ryu player just has fallen for everything. He is not usually that bad. It is so strange with him. Either he wastes me, or I do waste him.
And thanks to him I’ve realised how cheap Ryu is, cause he uses every fucking weapon he has. I mean, I get, it is Capcom’s poster boy, but making him able to land a whole ultra after a j.mp hit? Landing the whole super after an air-tatsu hit? Giving him a 3-fr ultra that does insane damage and has the most simple input? COME ON! Especially that j.mp drives me mad. It has priority over my everything. I wouldn’t be surprised to see it beat Bison’s EX stomp and Honda’s nj.hp. And don’t let me go about that slide OS.
jump back MP beats Ryu’s jMP. If you’re caught jumping forward though jMK is your best bet but it’s not guarenteed. The thing about Ryu is that he’s average at everything. Average at zoning, average at range, average at damage, average at anti air. He’s like Jacky from VF. The most average character. Which is fairly effective against most of the cast IF he can shut down their strengths. For Vega, Ryu needs to shut down Vega’s poking game. If he can shut down Vega’s poking game then he’s essentially shut down Vega’s offense. The thing about it though is that Vega’s poking game is extremely good when mixed up with his extremely good kara throw. And he far outdoes ryu in spacing too thanks to his walk speed, which shuts down Ryu’s zoning game pretty well. You have to not only use your strengths against someone like him but also the fact that Ryu’s strategy almost revolves around shutting down Vega’s poking game, which isnt easy.
You can argue that abusing Vega’s wake up is critical as well but any decent Vega will just simply block everything and late tech. It’s free pressure but not free damage other than the small amount of chip generated.
As for your videos… maybe they were intimidated by you and ended up doing stupid mistakes… I was planning on installing the PC version once i get a new video card but if that’s the caliber players I can expect on PC… i’m definitely not playing PC. I’d never learn anything. And i refuse to play for points so… yeah.
Very good points on the Ryu match-up.
But j.mp is always my most used jumping normal and his mostly shuts mine down. It’s like that normal of his swallows whatever comes. Mine only wins if I reach him with the tip of my blade which is a less frequent case unfortunately.
I’ve played for points upto now. Practiced everyday. Have just reached 15K and became A. And I think the ranked thing is over for me now too. People have vanished. And the remaining ones are bitches. Always hate msg after being beaten. Why are most of the people playing fighting games are this bitchy? Look at replay comments, the amount of rage quits, hate mails. Why?
Also now people have started to kick me with sending messages “I’ll lose, there is no need”. WTF? I’ve also entered many battles which I knew I would lose, that’s what makes you better. I’ve just beaten a Blanka player who used to drive me nuts (caused me to smash my keyboard). And knowing how he used to make fun of me before, and seeing how desperate he was just now, even did a random ultra at the end, has put a big grin on my face that will stay for some more minutes. Star can know this guy maybe, AlexLeder. If I had escaped battles with him as I never were able to beat him, I would never become able to beat him now. You (Vegaman) know how I used to suffer from Blanka, it is over now.
As for your PC players comments: There are good ones. But the number of the good ones are very less than the ones on Xbox. I’m amazed at the C rated Xbox players whose replays I see on Youtube. Most of the D and C rated players on PC are: 1- srk masher Kens 2- jmk, j.hk masher Ryus 3- Lariat masher Zangiefs 4- Dive kick masher Juris. If you were in EU, I would recommend you good players but I have no knowledge of the CA players, I don’t play with them as it is the opposite edge of the world for Turkey and the input delay becomes minutes. You will have to look at the leaderboards for that.
So, I guess, with the coming of SF x T, people are through with this game. Online is empty at least. And I don’t have an offline scene. And they will release SFxT in May for PC. So, fighting will be at pause for me until May it seems.
if you dont live in an area with an offline scene then you have really only 2 options to improve:
Move to an area where there’s a scene
Quit.
Once you can beat the majority of players online you really only have room for downward movement in skill. That’s where you start to pick up bad habits, bad strategies, and bad ideas. I mean, it’s possible to improve with online play. But it’s hard, and frusterating
There is also the lengthy process of improving someone until they are as good as you and then you learn from each other. It doesn’t happen very often since people would rather quit or not improve but it does.

I had some matches against a strong Vega player by the name of Customfit13 and I just wanted some feed back on how I did.

All I have is an I-Touch and my tv is in a weird spot to where I can’t record it decently, it sucks.
I’ve been wanting to upload my matches since I’ve joined and I still can’t. I just hope someone who has a PS3 on the forum gets a capture card and wouldn’t mind doing me a solid, if that’s possible…I’ve thought about getting a card myself but all the set-up looks way too complicated, I’m not a very tech-savvy guy. I guess I’ll just wait and see…
