Those constant backflips got me all dizzy. You should consider to include backdash/backjump in to your gameplay for mixup.

Actually, that seems to be the case.
Works for pretty much every character vs quick standing Vega. I can remember it not working for Sagat, Gief, Honda, Fei Long and maybe two more.

You sir have a point. It does leave me open at the end where backdash isn’t nearly as risky. They basically do the same thing.
I have however added jump back HP to the end of some of my poke strings instead of backing off/cosmic heel-throw.

For the list of the videos compiled, could we get some dates? I personally would MUCH rather watch a video released more recently than one in August of last year. Since August 2008, people have improved their combos, and have implemented many of the mechanics of SF4 into their gameplay. Focus attacks for example. Those were quite a rare sight in the early videos, but now that people know how useful they can be, you see them much more often. I would hate to try and improve off of old technique. I’m not saying they’re bad, I’m saying that they’re probably a LOT better now.

I like the use of FA backdash on jump-ins. Watching Vega matches is kind of depressing, it really looks like you have to so much more work than Ryu to do the same kind of damage.
