Biggest dick is Matt himself. Last minute end of the world matters may happen to him all the time, but the least he can do is text his partner to say that he can’t work on tomorow’s opening speech.
foggy had to carry the ball legally wise. hes allowed to be a bitch when matt never called this nigga once to explain anything. he basically kept foggy in the dark on ninja warfare til the very end. by then it was way too late and foggy had enough of his shit.
gotta remember matt pulled this in season one and broke them up cause of it. this is only a few months later.
Karen is the best MCU hero so far. An endless seeker of truth and justice even when she doesn’t have any powers or ways of defense…

On top of that, what bothered me most was Matt and his…logic on relationships. Dude is fairweather as fuck sometimes. He gets with Karen, all is good. He rebuffs Elektra even with her full court press. Elektra gets hurt and he goes crazy, Karen finds out and breaks it off. Now he’s apparently all in on love with Elektra. Elektra’s gone, oh, time to try and get back with Karen I guess.
It just feels like he takes the path of least resistance whenever he gets the chance.
i dont think hes ever not loved elektra. but he was trying to give karen a real chance. but learning more about elektra and knowing just how similar their childhoods were just brought them closer than ever. the real problem is karen just assumed all sorts of bad shit from matt without talkin to him. she turned into season2/3 felicity reallll quick. like theres an old blind man and bitch bandaged up in his bed…ya…clearly cheatin.

What hurt though was that he was being very evasive and shady prior to her showing up. If he had been, you know…around during the trial and everything I think she would’ve been far more open to hearing him out.
Hey guys I don’t read much comics can someone explain what’s going on with the urn, blood draining, and the black sky? And if that person was the black sky all along, wouldn’t the hand have ordered the capture of said person in the board room meeting? Or the party that said person crashes? It seemed like they wanted to force an m night shamalan twist but instead got a plot hole
The blacksmith reveal felt similarly rushed and forced. Why did said person become blacksmith? How did said person keep their identity secret and even give Madame gao, presumably some Asian space alien, a run for her money?
Also a lot of reviewers are hating on foggy but have you ever worked on a group project where one person was flaking all the time and not doing anything? And Matt was the one who wanted to do the punisher trial in the first place. Total dick move. He’s justified. Matt can’t have his cake and eat it too. Either fight magic ninjas full time or be a lawyer. Can’t do both and leave your partner high and dry
Anyway other than that I enjoyed the season.

Overall enjoyed season 1 more because kingpin is a great villain. Season 2 felt like The punisher show, which is good, but then they ruined it with magic undead zombie ninjas. They basically had two story arcs in season 2, which were unrelated. They should’ve stuck to punisher and fleshed out the blacksmith thing more. Put Electra in season 3.
Or at least have a final battle with all three working together, which is what the preview teased at. Instead, the actual thing punisher is called in ONCE as a projectile assist, but the final fight wouldve turned out the same if he hadn’t been there. The thing is, the dark gritty tone becomes kind of silly with zombies. Wasn’t a fan
Also in season 1 if nobu is a magic zombie why the hell didn’t he cast resurrection after he got burned? Seems like a sloppy retcon

first 4 episodes of s2 are the highlight of the entire series so far.
IIRC immediately after he caught fire, Fisk and his boys came in. Fisk whooped Matt, Matt jumped out the window and then Fisk and his boys left Nobu to burn. Wasn’t really a ton of time and nobody actually checked to verify he was dead. In the end it benefitted the Hand more than anything.

Nah man, I really enjoyed how batshit crazy Elektra was and how they portrayed her chemistry with Matt.
I didn’t really have an issue with how douchey Matt was either. He had already made his choices early on, and we really only saw him struggle to accept himself. Still, I wouldn’t mind him making the decision earlier in the season for more PuniShane goodness at the end.
More ninjas with Punisher helping thin out the numbers would’ve been nice. Also, the dog. Him appearing with the dog at the end would’ve been cheesy af, but i’d loved it.
Am not buying the Blacksmith being revealed in S2, has to be somebody else. Seems too easy for the level of mystique only for em to rush the reveal and showcase a tool shed.
