Just finished up Season 2. It surpasses Season 1 in every way which is tough considering how great that was. So many cameos from Season 1 characters. Punisher and Elektra were both great, and the Hand weren’t complete jobbers. Not sure if necessary but:

The plot frequently acknowledges events from Jessica Jones. She is mentioned by name, Luke Cage is referenced, and Carrie Anne-Moss appears along with the corporation that gave her powers being a strong catalyst to the “Elektra” portion of the plot.
The Defenders division of the MCU is off to a great start. Luke Cage and Punisher will definitely fit the world they created. Still anxious to see how Iron Fist will play out
