Midnight Sons could be Blade and Werewolf by Night, probably. Moon Knight, maybe, but that’s a stretch (and I don’t like Moon Knight much).

Her character intersects with enough other characters that having her back is important. Aside from being the MCU Night Nurse, Claire Temple was also Luke Cage’s ex in the 616. Having her here could have implications for both Jessica Jones and if they ever do Luke Cage.
A good part of her story arc involved a romantic relationship with Matt and part of the conflict of her character stemmed from that. Having her around more would probably have ended up in some CW levels of blah, so they likely do anything more with her since they were probably avoiding having any of that on their show.

I can agree there. I do hope they stay true to the comics for Jessica when it comes to her story also. Just follow their direction that they used on daredevil
Mike Colter is Luke Cage. He’s gonna be a supporting character on AKA Jessica Jones which is currently filming. The production of his show will start after Jessica Jones is done.

Everyone so antsy for S2. Just wait a year guys. We got other Marvel series coming out this year before S2 even starts.
I’m not a Daredevil fan. I can respect the character as much as the rest, and what the creators were going for with him but, not a fan.
I walked into this expecting something dreadfully overhyped…wow. I was wrong. The netflix Daredevil show was waaaaaay better than i expected!
The sad thing is, other studios will try to follow suit to get-in on the whole Superhero Tv show gig, and most of them will be nowhere close as good as Daredevil was. I hav’nt seen the flash or the arrow yet but, i’m guessing they’re weak sauce compared to this.
The flash is a close second. The only real problems with it is some of the plot holes in the story but they are minor enough you can just explain it with ‘lolspeedforce’ and enjoy it for what it is. The cast of characters and their interactions are what really make the show; along with the great level of effects/new villains put into each episode.
