Marvel vs. Capcom Origins coming to Xbox Live and PlayStation Network

Wonder what the acheivements will look like <.<

^Play, no macros.

wat? o_O

Don’t ragequit for 1000 losses.

Or at least this should be an achievement. Doesn’t even have to be a streak.

Let me tell you something: If there’s one thing I can do unassisted, it’s lose. I am so good at losing.

I never boost for achievements. That’s hella low.

It’s not boosting if the other guy is just plain better. The point is to keep people from ragequitting with an incentive of “at least I’ll eventually get a trophy/achievement for this.”

I heard from the MvC1 thread that 3p 3k button mapping IS in the game :frowning:

Thank goodness MvC2 didnt have that crap, imagine how many MORE fucking MSP players would think they were so nice with “godlike” lagnetos

But think of the pad players. I mean, didn’t Fanatiq map PP on his DC pad (losing one assist in the process)?

i dont see the macro players on ggpo losing anything by mapping 3p to a button. especially if youre on a 8 button stick

No, no, no. Not that, I meant players who need the macros because they play on pad.

The thought of playing these games on pad gives me chills.
Just seems wrong…
BUT, new generation of people. Pad players are very common now a days, so it’s understandable w/ the inclusion of macros and such.

yeah, thats odd in this game. it was kind of shocking at first where i was like, did i just do late jump hk with wolvie, and get zero advantage and get thrown before my standing lp came out. lol. id have to do more research, but sometimes im completely confused by the block stun in this game.

fanatiq chose to loose an assist. he didnt have too. he had more then enough buttons to use to still be able to use assist. the keyboard ggpo monsters will still be on xbl and psn. i cant speak on ps3, but they have keyboards for xbox360 so they can do what they usually do.

“- Jump ins for some reason have no block stun which my guess is due to shoddy programing. Also no block stun on air attacks means it’s pretty hard if not impossible to have a mix up game when all you have to do is hold up back and avoid any subsequent lows.”

oh well damn, that answered all my questions. i wonder how that applies to special normals, sj normals, fly normals, ect… i knew there had to be a reason i was getting randomly thrown or mashed out on after jump normals to setup crossups and shit. what kind of garbage. haha, capcom

It’s not about losing an assist, it’s about how some pad players would appreciate the 3P/3K macros.

As a pad player, I like that the marcos are included. It makes life easier.

I play MvC2 with a pad and I still can ROM (all variation). I don’t need a One Button Dash (macros).

Fanatiq lost an assist because MvC2 was played on Dreamcast, a system with only 6 buttons. There was no miracle converter that would tell a game to add an additional 2 buttons so people could OBD and keep both assists.

Your right, I kinda forgot about the pad players. So I guess button binding does make sense.

EDIT: Oh wait! Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t it only 2 buttons to dash? That shouldn’t require binding on a pad.

lol damn, i totally forgot about that shit. been a while since ive played dc marvel 2. oops, brain fart.
