Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite. A history of BADNESS. Will this bad Marvel be TOO BAD?

mvc3 is so ugly

There’s this guy on the forum going off about how beautiful MVC3 is

mvc2-3-infinite are all ugly looking games

Got up early? Didn’t that cartoon come on at 11am?

I have 4 different ways I can make a joke about this, but I can’t because I’m white :frowning: I guess I’ll just go back to watching Wimbledon while eating rice cakes with mayonnaise.

Oooh speaking about white people. GOT comes on this weekend!
It’s my favorite whypipo show of all time!

Damn that was off topic.

Got me looking at you with a side-eye wishing a playa would…

Since we’re going OT, Speaking of Wimbledon, some of my people’s ate going to watch doubles today.

Oh, don’t worry. No side-eye necessary. If you take away the water in our bodies, we are all just a small pile of chemicals.

“CAPCOM UR DED HAHA AM I RIGHT?, DBZ RULZ”.
What kind of shit bait is this?. Shitting on games that came more than 10 years ago?
Did you ran out of excuses or what, this is fucking lame.
Kill yourself pls lmao
Btw that guitar hero chun-li combo looked dope

If you took the shitting on the old Marvel games seriously you’re a real hard ass.

You and @“po pimpus” need to team up

Mvc3 is not “ugly”

The art style might not be for everyone but lol…ugly?

Y’all niggas…

I think MvC3 is ugly as fuck.

MvC2 Marvel sprites were nice and I liked the style. Capcom side was horribly inconsistent but the sprites that were made for that game like Jill, Commando, and T.Bonne were awesome. Backgrounds and UI were horrible though certainly. That fucking clown.

I mean that sounds nice but what we are actually doing is making a comparison using logic that says if you think mvc3 is ugly but you’re okay with mvci your opinion is met with a swift invalidation

Nah, that’s not why. Touch of Death into Mixup: The Game got stale as hell and everyone knows it. People are just choosing to ignore it because “oh man, the graphics are so shit and the roster is so shit. UMVC3 was better”…sure, buddy. We all know that if everyone stuck with MVC3 it would be 6 more years of complaining about zoop-zoop, soul-soul and “IM MOTIVATED”.

This game has the fortune of being well designed in the one area that matters long-term: gameplay. Somewhere along the line, Capcom figured out how to make the game an actual “sandbox” while keeping boundaries. You can do whatever you want, but the reward for landing a hit seems to be kept in check. So far it looks like the perfect Marvel system.

So I am more than happy to buy this shitty ass game that’s fun to play. At least I can see this game still evolving after 6 years…

You high, bruh? My entire post was about gameplay…

@samuel5220 bruh you’ve been here 11 days. did psychojosh and po recruit you or are you a manifestation of their hatred and disgust with capcom combined? kind of running dbz>mvci a little too hard. at least with the other two its funny in some ways.

I’ve never put someone on ignore before. Congratulations, you’re my first.

I’m going to call bullshit on that right now. The guy with the MvCI Chun AV made an account during E3 and has been one of the most hilariously weak defenders of this game so far. It’s clear that Capcom’s incompetence is drawing in people from across the internet to examine this train wreck as it unfolds. Unlike most games, MvCI will probably have more people talking about it than playing it because even people who like the game as is generally agree that it sucks unless there’s a specific character you really want or you’re addicted to 8-way air dashing.

I honestly think this “anti hype” train is going to die down once pros (or shills or whatever you want to call them) are seen genuinely having fun with the game. The hate will get tiring once people realize they still have to wait over half a year to play DBFZ. Then we can move on and joke casually about the graphics/roster/whatever as we enjoy the gameplay.

Zero is broken again. Sougenmu + mind stone Infinity Storm means he gets meter for Sougenmu again after it. Badness confirmed.

Welcome to Capcom, Morrigan is a gague on how much evolving Capcom are doing, so far it seems to be pretty good.
