i was hoping mvci would have a mvc1 pace of play, with real weight and impact behind the hits not this awkward shit where character jumps have no weight, they jump like puppets where all the weights in the upper body and the legs dangle
game looks like a faster xvsf which is cool but not what i was rly hoping for
COTA is ass as a competitive FG, but it was amazing to see that game for the first time in the arcades

That looks like a fun watch. I was only 3 years old when that hit so never got a chance to see it. Really cool how Stan Lee chimes in for a bit before the episode starts.
I remember the first time the Fox X Men show came on, shit blew my mind. Didn’t even know about the comics yet, but seeing Wolverine and Gambit go in for the first time was the shit. Literally got up as early as I could every Saturday just to hear that theme go off. Then the video game came out on Sega Genesis. The game was kinda awkward and didn’t really have the best controls, but it was Xmen and had Gambit so I liked it. X Men 2 Clone Wars is still my favorite X Men game. Shit is a blast to play with good roster and great soundtrack.
This was hot shit back then but strangely it wasn’t promoted much. I grew up on Spider Man and his Amazing Friends so my appreciation for camp and
shitty VO is unparalleled. I always thought it was a movie but its actually a pilot. I guess it didn’t do well enough to get picked up back then to be made
into a regular show.
