I’m gonna take a shot here and say keepaway, but again, I’m not used to this sort of barrage of shit coming my way, not being a vs player. Doom has amazing tool to keep you off, dormammu too. Also, Advancing Guard pushed the opp back quite a bit, and that once again makes the space between players bigger.
however, I do believe there are character capable of capitalizing greatly once they get in. Chun, Zero, x23 are examples.
Honestly I don’t think there’s a completely dominant way to go. The characters have such a big variety in playstyle that you’ll see a bit of everything. Turtle styled characters, pressure based characters, mixup based characters, everything. If this is gonna be half as good as it seems to me, we’re gonna see a hell of a lot of variety come february. Here’s hoping I’m right!
A lot of top players lurk the forums and get all the juice from the dipshits that play the game and speculate on it all day anyway.
Dont share ANYTHING.
Then busts your ass wide open in a tourney with all that shit you never even thought of. Srk should just go back to that “figure it out yourself” stuff.
Damn fucking right. Fuck everyone else. Community went to shit when it got “nice”. Nah, screw that shit, level up by yourself. Because otherwise, this shit happens. The only info you should trust is your own.
Thanks for taking the time to test this stuff out and let us know what you notice.
Next chance you get, would you try this out?1p do c.light attack with different characters -> have 2p pushblock as soon as the move(s) hit and hold up immediately afterward -> 1p immediately dash as soon as the attack recovers and gauge how close you are from the opponent as they jump. I’m really interested in the way that pushblock works so far, it would really help to give people an impression of how the offense/spacing will flow together with a few simple tests to the way that pushblock works vs single attacks/chains+assists.
also if any character is within range after one attack -> dash vs the pushblock, try to jump and throw them with regular jump throw and sj throw. I wonder if this game will have different throw ranges for regular jump vs sj?
This is like the TSR aproach. All he truly said was that it was kid of disappointing that more experienced players did not get a chance to play this build and give their input.
You went ape shit on him and overreacted for an honest opinion which I kind of agree with. This information is nice, but it would have been better to get a more experienced players input. The fact that you insulted him to high heaven first is also uncalled for. He doesn’t play marvel/MAHVEL BAYBEE, so it is perfectly understandable that he would want a more seasoned players input due to the fact that it would be more “valid” so to speak.
Question: Can Magneto cancel his attacks instantly out of his airdash?
How fast is his airdash.
Does his LK have a high/low input like it did in MvC2?
There’s a chance we’re going back there later this week to play more of this. This time we’re gonna take a note of pretty much everything people asked in this topic and try to test it as much as we can. I can’t guarantee we’re gonna bring fresh, solid answers for every question here (I can’t even guarantee I’m going back there again, kinda complicated for me) but we’re gonna do our best. Just bare with our lack of marvel knowledge =)
