Currently I have DSL internet, with Downstreams speed of 768 Kbps and Upstream 384 Kbps. When I play MVC2 wireless, it’s fine but once my wife gets onto her Ipod/Phone using Wifi, it screws up my game. She’s not downloading, just web surfuring. As you can see, I can’t win the battle against her and I love MVC2 to death so I have been thinking of doing an upgrade to Fiber Optic Cable. The question is, would it helps me after the upgrade and paying more for the internet?
ATT currently have an U-Verse internet offer at the speed of Dw: 3.0 Mbps and Up: 512 Kbps. If I have that Downloading speed, can both of us go online fine using WiFi? I understand with the Fiber Cable, it’s much faster than my current set up, but I am unsure if that will solve my problem. Let’s say she is downloading a small file, an apps for Ipod, would that mess up my connection in MVC2 while I’m trying to run away from Renique and he’s chasing me down like a beast?

What kind of router do you have? It also depends on the router and how much speed it offers that will affect the wifi connection.
I have 3 PS3s, 2 laptops, 1 mac, 3 desktops and almost all of them are wireless and it doesn’t affect my gameplay. Get a D-Link and get an Ethernet cord.
