For clarity, it certainly isn’t. You ticked a box saying “Oh no he doesn’t have copyright here”, which is not YouTube agreeing with you. That’s the DCMA out for them saying that it’s on you now. Since I work hard and play hard, my copyright claims were (are) slowly ongoing through the legal system and you were in error. You basically said “Sue me”, so I was doing that. You took them down, and we don’t have any issues now. But yeah, look up copyright. It’s a fascinating field that I’ve been working in and alongside for a long time. YouTube makes people believe that they can just post whatever they want, but that’s very much not the case. That’s why I don’t put up the entirety of my archives on YouTube: I’d love to, but I do not have the right. I’d require permission for any content other people produced. =\
That’s entirely irrelevant. We happily avoided each other and as noted through my probably odd gift of a chocolate coin to you (I bought a bag at the gift shop) I consider everything between us happily quashed.
I’m not particularly a good player, I’m not particularly prone to drama, I just like helping. If people just leave me alone, I’m happy to help. I have a strongly adverse reaction to abuse, though: I’ve got other things to be doing.
