Marvel Vs Capcom 2 Dreamcast emulator screenshot

If only he were in the game…

haha whoa those actually look pretty good

hey T-kimura i was womdering if u could help me. i finally got this 2 run after i used this 3D thing 2 help it but when i mount a iso i wont recognize it as a dreamcast game. Some1 told me 2 use self boot iso’s so i got 1 and it still just goes 2 the screen where u can listen 2 music and stuff. I am using torrent files though, i think that may be the problem becuase daemon tools cannot read the file. so what i did was use yet another program that supposedly turn the torrent file into an iso. but it does work. daemon tools reads it, but like I said earlier Chanka just sees it as a reuglar cd. If u or any1 can help me please do. My email address is marissataylor2001@yahoo.com, my aim is lasuavion1

Lasuavion

p.s. T-kimura i think i played u b 4 on mame in xvs

hi, i need help with that too, i always get the timescreen even. I have the mvc2 selfboot for dc from www.suprnova.com but it still doesn’t recognize it. Can anyone help? My email is replyto_me2004@hotmail.com if anyone can give me some advice. Thx a lot

yea i have the self boot file 2 from the same place how did u get daemon tools 2 recognize it? when i checked properties it just said torrent file. so i used a program 2 change it 2 an iso but it didn’t work.

Remember the fire graphical glitch in CvS2? It’s not in Chankast. Comparing side-by-side in the attachment, you’ll see that not only is the glitch gone, but Chankast seems to place the super bars too low.

hot stuff, say…

could anyone link me to where i can dl this dreamcast emulator and games? i’m bad with computers

As stated before, asking for games is against the forum’s rules.

And if you would reread the thread, both questions will be answered.

for reggie and cooh, you guys should read the tutorial at www.chanka.org… but i think if your stuff takes you to the set time screen all the time you need a new bios/flash file, some are bad.

God be praised. Getting 65fps, and it’s too frickin fast. (I just got a new PC… P4 3.4ghz, 2 gigs of ram, 256 9800xt) Any word of a frame limiter?

dave

I’m having trouble here…help please!

im having the same problem, mvc2 is to fast. anyone know how to slow it down?

thnx 4 the reply T-kimura, not many people are willing 2 help i’ve noticed. I’ll look 4 some more and try that.

"And about chankast, we are gonna release a new chankast version this weekend. You are gonna love the new features:

  • more stable, no more random crashes
  • better gfx core
  • more compatibility
  • speed improvements
  • cable selector
  • new pad support
  • and a lot of more features"

from the dev.

Awesome, i cant wait till this thing gets online support. This emu is awesome, i just hope with the next release i will get better frame rates.

Yeah a max frame rate would be nice for those of us with fast computers, so far though everything is leaps and bounds beyond what I would have expected.

Matt

Awsome:cool: When this gets online support, it will be the best. I just got a new comp as well, and it’s more than enough to run chankast.

I just hope they fix the little graphics problems for the sprite rippers. :frowning: Shadows going over the feet and other stuff like that.

Chankast .2 is out, the Capcom Hack is built into what seems to be a normal build of it, lots of graphics fixes, input fixes as well, except one thing is happening, directions are making assists happen which is annoying. Not sure why yet, could be something with my input, and input is so simple, the way all guis should be, picture of the controller, line with a blank, click and pick.

Games are still too fast for me, no frame limit implimented yet, there’s a few video options, but for me they don’t seem to do anything. Everything is on the fly adjustments too, no restarting the emulator and stuff. This is really really impressive. The shadows overlapping the feet has been fixed by the way, rip away.

That is just the emulator, no bios included (for legal stuff).

Edit: The input issue seems to be gone, must have been a mess up with my old input file. My arcade stick works great too.

Matt

lol the control input screen is sooo vastly improved.

It seems to run even slower on my comp than Chankast v. 1 tho’. :frowning:

edit: Awesome, you can remove the statistics data at the lower left corner, that helps with ripping a lot.
