how can u put gd-roms inside cd/dvd drive? is that a way i.e. u can hack the firmware ?
No way for a cd/ dvd drive to read a GD-rom. There are special drives that you can buy out there to read the GD-roms. Of course it’s a GD-rom drive. Don’t know where you can find em though. Thanx.
-See Ya!!!
if you own the original game it’s legal to download a backup copy and stick it on a cd.
go in to the bios and reset the vmu to save/load stuff on your games… if anyone gets all the chars in mvc2 fast post your vms save file up or something.
please somebody help me!!?? message me at aim:xinyczdaveix
Oh yes, that just means EVERYONE owns the original copy don’t they. yes so everything is legal.
Whether you own it or not, it is not legal to download ROMS, but hell we all do it anyways. Stop lying to yourself.
Anyways, this doesn’t run well on my comp. 1.8 p4, 386 DDR ram, and a radeon 9600 with 128MB.
But i’m glad it is a start.
Hi Mr. TGC, if you didn’t notice, I was talking to y45hiro because he was trying to use his gdrom to play but couldn’t, so I said, hey! since you already own the game, why not just download a backup copy and play off of that? perfectly legal!
k.
anyone having trouble saving in mvc2? i keep unlocking people and it says it saved, but when i reload mvc2, everything is gone.
if you want to be technical that’s still illegal. you have to make the backup yourself using your own copy. downloading doesn’t count. semantics, yes, but hey i’m bored…
try this shit
change the extension to .vmi
Anyone have a basic tutorial for getting Chankast to work? I have all the files and bios, and daemon tools and .cdi images of self booting DC games, but when I try to load a game, it says please insert disc.
what files do you need exactly? Excludeing Bios/Flashes/ISO’s of course.
can anyone make a .zip build of it?
all you need besides the other crap you listed is the 2 files that it comes with, .exe file and .dll file heh
What about a jap vmi? can that be edited to make it think it’s the jap?
I’m getting 50 FPS easily with 3s, CvS2, MvC2… I’m running it from CD, however.
I have sound edited burned copies and tried to rip them from the CD to ISO form, yet I cannot get it to boot from the virtual drive (Using Daemon Tools). Does anyone have a solution to this? I know if I can get the games to run from my computer, they’ll easily be 60fps.
Also, has anyone noticed the game speed being a tad slow? CvS2 feels like it’s running at speed 1 or 2 instead of 3.
Thanks in advance.
If it’s running at 50 fps, it’s still showing the full amount of frames, and not skipping them, that’s why it feels slower, cause it’s drawing the frames at a slower rate than 100%. For me, even playing off the CD, MvC2 and CvS2 at times get insanely fast, especially during air combos, over 70fps. SF3 however never goes over 50 fps really, and it crashes a lot, so does MvC2.

anyone try the gambit glitch/ruby heart glitch yet?
