I wouldn’t care if they cast an Asian actor in the role. The MCU has a serious lack of Asian characters and Asian leads. I think Agent May is the only one I remember, but there should be more. Hope they add an Asian actress as Mantis for a future Guardians of the Galaxy movie, too, Mantis is a really cool character.

I think I don’t care if Adam Warlock is Star-Lord’s dad, the plot from Guardians of the Galaxy wasn’t exactly great, I don’t care much about what happens on the story, specially since son of a Gunn is bending the Marvel mythos in the way he pulls out of his ass (just see Ronan and Yondu).

GotG plot was just fine. It just wasn’t the same as the comic books.
