they still could do the marvel timeline of 2044 if they wanted to

Are you talking about Marvel 2099 without not even knowing the right name? XD

I haven’t read the comics since the 90s, thought they took place in 2044

Kill Iron Man off and replace him with Titanium Man, p simple solution.

I’m not happy with Marvel doing a Crisis style reboot. I’ve always prefer their method of ignoring bad continuity and pretending it never happened.

Are people really thinking the characters will be replaced with succesors? That would make no sense since this is gonna be a reboot and probably everyone will be young and beginner again :stuck_out_tongue:

I will take successor replacements over a reset button.

Not talking about the comics.

Unless they’re black or women, I guess? XD

If that’s the case, Kevin Feige said they would simply recast.

Sure, but there’s no need to recast any time soon even if the contract expires.

Reading more about what was announced I’m not convinced it’s a full fledged reboot. They’re cherry picking the best stuff from their alternative universes and combining them into one. I doubt Miles Morales will be replacing 616 Peter.

I think Young Avengers has a way higher chance than Next Avengers or even Avengers Next (yes, they’re two different things).

Marvel fucked up big time with YA. They had a ton of momentum ten years ago. Never pulled the trigger because they wanted Heinberg back to do another book.

Only because the writer was busy, he resumed writing on Children’s Crusade, that can be seen as the series finale. Currently there’s volume 2, but also remember things are going to be rebooted.

I don’t think Next Avengers are popular enough. As for the MCU, things are somewhat aligning and Young Avengers on big screen seem to be becoming more possible every time.

How the fuck is Tony out getting his swag on, unpunished still from Civil War and WWH, and yet Namor risks his life and reputation time and time again, just to get stabbed in the back by two black guys and left to get saved by Thanos and inevitably remind Black Panther not to go too far, when he exacts his fantastic revenge?

Tony got his punishment during Secret Invasion and it’s aftermath where his company was at an all time low. Nobody was fucking with Stark tech.

na na na na na

He blasts Hulk into space, and pretty much gets off panel KO’d when hulk comes back. Has to fight Reed Richards against his will with a club, but who cares when you’ve been fighting giant aliens and robots and exploding death rays every day for the last God knows how long. Oh and the kicker? Then he blasts Hulk with like every fucking weapon on earth at once and he gets buried underground.

Then after all the Civil War shit, and all the deaths and pain he caused, he doubts who he is and his company loses some money boo hoo. Yeah, that makes up for Goliath getting a hole blasted through his fucking chest by RoboThor. He imprisoned like half of the Marvel universe, now he’s selling drugs or some shit, and the worst that’s happened is his wallet got two pounds lighter.

Tony is one of the characters I think Marvel started making way too retardedly OP.

Marvel is turning gay like DC.

It’s no worse then cap being responsible for AVX then blaming Scott and the mutants for all the shit that went down.
