To be fair to Hawkeye, he DID lead The West Coast Avengers, putting him on the same level as Capt for a spell.
How about we donât bring up Reddit bullshit that could hint at spoilers?
I mentioned something similar due to the movie could take the ending of the latest of the infinity stories and it was argued to be âspeculationâ. So.
I do agree though. Reddit likes to spoil a lot of shit.
You where arguing with Magegg dude. You lost before you even started.
I meanâŚyeah. Lesson learned.
Edit: man, I had to clean that post up hard. It wasnât coherent in the slightest. Fuck
Um, how about we donât bring up THE HAWKEYE SERIES, which is um, you know, um, well, letâs see⌠an actual spoiler, as opposed to mentioning Reddit, in passing?
Damn new spiderman movie had a trailer out. Canât stop you guys from talking about news that Marvel itself puts out but revealing details that arenât public knowledge is a different thing.
What if it takes place in the past?
Renner is looking his age WAY too hard for that to be the case.
Yeah, I guess so. And itâd be ridiculous to do the whole CGI treatment to make him look young for an entire series, lol. Although I gotta admit they got good results with Samuel L.
It is speculation, at this point.
The spoilers thread there looks like a blindmanâs dartboard, if a blind man had a dart Uzi.
Literally EVERYTHING has been claimed as true there.
Well, not everything - Scar Jo still doesnât get to become Herp-free after the Snapback.
Anyways⌠it is one spoiler that I am actually quite GLAD of.
I was wanting Hawkeye to make it through past the end.
The fact that the director has said time and time again that he gets to do something genuinely significant in Endgame, for a series first, AND gets to live to have his OWN series, makes my day.
Further, we know âThe Fallenâ/snapped are coming back - the Spider-Man trailer isnât a spoiler.
We DONâT know who is going to make it outside of them.
So everyone still alive is fair game, at this juncture.
Except, yâknow⌠Hawkeye, now.
I feel like he played a pretty significant role in Age of Ultron. He provided a safe house, and it shows a much more human side to him with his family. And his pep talk with Wanda was pretty significant to get her to go HAM on the bad guys.
I know what you are saying, and you know what I am saying.
Random Shield Agent 57 could have done the same, providing shelter, 'doe.
I want to see Hawkeye do something Super Hero-ish, for a change, that doesnât rank with T.V. commercials alluding to school teachers being of a level (sorry, Sub-Pertho).
Yeah, me too.
But that means Iâm going to have to sub to Disney+ now, dammit.
I will give credit when credit is due with Hawkeye. Itâs shown but not âknownâ that he drops the Hawkeye Monicker and goes by Ronin for a while. Not sure if he will actually refer to himself as this though. But the trailer shows him in the Ronin garb carrying his signature katana when he was Ronin if they even remotely let him be what I spoilered he is going go be ridiculously bad ass and will probably change my mind in the character. They could even give him pymm particles and have him as the second Goliath like he did briefly in the comics. Giant Hawkeye and Antman vs. Thanos would be a crazy fun fight to watch.
Iunno. As little as Iâm interested in MCU hawkeye there is a lot of room for him to become a bad ass and a fun character. Itâs just a matter of if they do it or not.
Iâm glad to see Hawkeye get his own series. Heâs the least developed MCU Avenger. The character is in need of spotlight.
