I don’t see any hate campaign against Supergirl.
It’s not as visible of a target to be honest.
I see it on YouTube more than any place but it does exist.
It’s weird because these groups never gave a shit about female superheros like this before. But they are 1000% against this movie, like the anger is so weird. And only posting negative reviews to try and show its a bullshit movie
I’m burned out of it to be honest. I saw a few videos with legit complaints. They got a lot of hits and now people seem to be actively looking for offenses to post videos on. They are tapping into the growing and underlying male anger. I wonder when it will come to a head.
Well with marvel bringing the next generation of superheros in its gonna be soon. Because most of the new generation are very mixed diverse bag aloot of females. Lol America Chavez gonna have white nerds shoot their tv
I never really understood why that ass-ache from this whole thing. Brie said something stupid, OK and press on. Starting some social media outcry seems silly to me. The fact that this is probably just a mediocre movie won’t help either.
I meant in general. I should have been more clear. This Captain Marvel thing is result of it. I see similar anger in regards to other topics.
Coming to terms that being special isn’t a thing seems to be a hard pill to swallow as of late. It’s a piece of entertainment. There’s no force of hand to engage with it. Reminds me of fans of G1 that believe everything else that came after it was trash.
Best complaint I’ve seen against Captain Marvel was, if they’re so up for diversity, why didn’t they made the movie to star Monica Rambeau? She’s an African American and was the first female to have the Captain Marvel codename ? ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Pretty uncomfortable question, right?
Oh yeah, that would have gone over reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal well.
Not really no.
Thor 3 is arguably the BEST Marvel movie ever made.
Quite easily in the top tier of the MCU, but wouldn’t call it my favorite. It’s the one that has the most rewatchability of the movies primarily due to its more comedic nature. Hemsworth comedic timing is great in that one.
It does however have the best titlecard sequence in the MCU.
The only other MCU movie that I remember the titlecard may be the first Iron Man.
So the Morbius movie is coming along…
Yeah. I went going in to Ragnarok expecting absolutely nothing considering how bad I thought the first two thors were. But man, I was so pleasantly surprised. It’s easily one of the top MCU movies for sure.
I thought Thor 3 was going to be shit. Easily my favorite Marvel movie. Pretty easy since I think most marvel movies are pretty garbage. Ironman 3, Thor 2, hulk, Avengers 1/2, blah. Black Panther was passable and I did like the Antman movies.
I am sorta in the middle with respect to Ragnarock. I really liked Cate Blanchett’s Hela and to my surprise, Tessa Thomson’s Valkyrie. But even tho we got Hulk vs Thor, Banner was indeed reduced to comedy slap in the film, add in an unneeded Dr Strange cameo and the early dismissal of Anthony Hopkins and really if it wasn’t for those 2 girl characters I wouldn’t have liked it. Right now is def the best Thor movie out there, which doesn’t say too much but I think is a decent movie to watch again. IM2 as bad (and so fucking long) as it was, I have watched it again (I always enjoy Sam Rockwell’s acting). However, IM3 I have NEVER watched it again, and I don’t intend to in the next 10 years. Best MCU movies imo are still IM and WS. I am not counting Raimi’s SM movies because those were Sony but if I was then I’d have SM1 below those two.
Space Thor is fun.
Just locked my tix in for Saturday. Hype!
