The X-Men didnāt play a huge role in World War Hulk. They got their ass beat in their tie-in and that all there was to it.
Natalie Portman getting cut is the best news ever. She seems ok when acting alone, but anything she has to be the romantic interest of a male lead she always seems wooden and terrible.
She wanted out since midway through 2. She dislikes blockbuster movies. Sheās always about those indie style dramas. I love her as an actress but she was out of her realm (heh) in this series.

At least with him you can tell that even though he knew he was only gonna do it once, he was gonna enjoy himself. Thatās the difference. Portman ALWAYS looks miserable doing this shit. Weaving gives his 100% regardless of the material.

The reluctance to do so is probably because Hugo Weaving was a professional about only working once and they probably loved the guy and really want to see if they can convince him to return.

Edward Norton was a bigger asshole. Iām glad he got dumped after the Hulk movie.
He is, but at least with the Hulk, it was a consensus decision for him to leave. Plus heās actually a good enough actor to get consistently hired in SPITE of his jackassery.
