see that’s what bothers me:
namor would already be OP imo when the android human torch butts heads with him [he would have to be somewhat de-powered to level the playing field when it comes to the MCU] so why go through the motions? because reasons?
now, BP would be another story though. there’s a lot to work with from their numerous clashes in the books that were really compelling in plot and characterization aspects which i really liked.
(What planet did Namor get dropped on him? Uranus? [/immature joke that needed to be made])
“Brain” Tee? Your unconscious racism is showing by stereotyping all Asians as “brainy”, Hawkingbird. For shame. We all know people can’t look good and be smart simultaneously. It’s one or the other:
Seriously, though, it’s good to know that guy’s name finally. I’ve been wondering what it is for a while. I’ve just been too damn lazy too look it up.
I can’t help but imagine people raging at an Asian Namor though–le gasp!–despite the fact that Hollywood fucks over would-be Asian actors all the time still.
I legitimately had to stop myself from laughing at this in real life.
I guess he maybe has the looks and maybe still has the physique for it, but the second he opens his mouth to say something with gravitas…disaster occurs.
I think they’ll give Namor an original costume. No pointy ears, please.
I think having Inhumans and Namor in the same movie could be a good idea, both Attilan and Atlantis being lost civilizations I could see a connection there.
Still, I don’t think Quesada confirmed anything, he only said Fox and Sony don’t have the rights over Namor, Marvel Studios does, but never mentioned a thing about the distribution rights (that could be still at Universal).
lol at fagegg, confirmed homophobic.
namor too manly to give a fuck if you care about his speedos OR his pointy ears lololol
too bad he’s dead in the books right now to do so
