(As if we needed more proof that Vanity Fair is among the too many shitty America publications can exist.)
I’m not going to click that either, but I do find it “funny” how if the sentence description Xvideos give is accurate, Vanity Fair apparently takes “issue” with his “heterosexuality” while also completely ignoring that bisexuality exists if you’re so goddamn insistent on using labels.
Sigh. I hate people.
I mean, if you really wanted to grasp at straws for reasons to be upset over that singular kiss beyond it breaking up your actually non-existent fan-girl OTP, then far more valid grounds would be how it’s arguably creepy since Steve is both technically 100 years old and was sweet on that very same woman’s great aunt. However, maybe they’re saving their SJW righteous indignation for the article entitled “Captain America, Cradle Robber Extraordinaire”.
How would you rank all of Stan Lee’s cameos so far?
I know [details=Spoiler]Tony Stank[/details] is definitely one of my favorites, it’s simple, short and hilarious.
(Best Stan Lee cameo so far is probably still Deadpool.)
His cameo in this movie might be the second best though. Admittedly, at present, the only other cameo I really remember of his right now was the one at towards the end of Captain America: The Winter Soldier where he played the security guard at the Smithsonian.
My main question is: Why in the blue hell do people want the X-Men in the MCU? I actually like the fact that I can take an X-Men movie seriously (sans any Wolverine title) as far as plot and tone. The last thing I need to see is the X-Men on some campy bullshit like Ant-Man or GotG.
I like the Inhumans Royal Family. I’d love to see a movie about them. I think they’re worthy characters. As for the recent Inhuman craze from 3-4 years ago to nowadays, I’m kind of interested but let’s be true, they’re mostly X-Men in disguise… of course they can do a great movie based on them but so far I can only say I’m interested only in the Royal Family, and for me it would be a shame if they don’t make the Inhumans movie, because I’ve spent at least a couple years looking forward to it
This mindset is kind of silly when you consider that maybe 10% or so of the population is LGBT. They are grossly over-represented in most media/tv shows. Hell my wife and her friends were all fan-girling hard has hell at the Steve Rogers kiss. People in the theater were even cheering. They would love to alienate 90% of the audience to appease a small minority though, because they love shoving their stupid ideas down everyone’s God damn throat. The issue you bring up is funny though, I could just imagine the the reaction people would have if he would have gotten with Peggy while she was in the nursing home.
I like the X-Men not being around. Seeing how much X-Men dominated the Marvel line from the late 80s and up until the movies kicked off it’s refreshing to see the franchise be sidelined to develop other properties.
ideally it would help go towards one of the bigger storylines. obvious house of m and no more mutants seem the most logical atm…but obviously their are other over reaching ones. Like aoa and rebirth.
