Fernus Is basically Red Hulk and was written the same way. Fernus taking the whole JLA was stupider than Rulk lifting Mjolnir and bodying Thor in like 7 panels.

Technically, Red Hulk didnāt lift Mjolnir. Thor was holding on to it when he grabbed it.

That kinda sounds like one stupid cop-out technicality.
Yeah, Cap USED to be just peak human and very well trained, but over the last two decades, heās been moving more toward the superhuman side of the spectrum to the point Spider-man, one of the non super speed characters with the quickest reaction times in all of Marvel comics can have Cap able to run up on him and land punches like he was a scrub. Even the thing with his shield pretty much had it that the only way Bucky could use it as effectively as Steve was with his mechanical arm. That is just in the comics, movie Cap is basically just superhuman in a world where he has to team up with gods, Hulks and super armor wearing millionaires.
Cap has always been to show us that a peak human being is better than Gods, Hulk, and billion dollar high tech battle suits. Steve just needed a serum and vita-rayās to achieve this.
There is a reason why virtually everybody has tried to remake the super soldier serum, at some point, and failed.
Cap has defeated more heroes than the villians has, but its mostly due to his mastery of hand to hand combat (as shown when his serum was deactivated) and doing shit like KO spiderman, hulk (acupunture bitches!), black panther, namor, taskmaster, deathstrike etc, fights amped wolverine to a standstill, fucks up onslaught and super kree.
Cable has admited Cap is stronger and faster, plus theres all the shit like when Cap is ripping steel apart with his bare hands and quick enough to dodge lasers. Steroids are OP in the marvel universe, just look at Sentry like holy shit if that guy was sane all the time the avengers would be permanently outta buissness.
Anyhoo Cap is just a top class human, not superhuman, more like an injury free Batman (who ofc has already laid out numerous superheroes/villians as well).
Marvel vs DC would be all fun in games, till Nate Grey and Franklin Richards show up and turn everyone into tennis balls
