Wow, that’s kind of cliche, but most of the other options a writer in that situation would have taken would have been cliche as well.

I think Spacy would make for an interesting Norman Osbourne. Ideally I would make him a villain for a Captain America film.
I really wish there was a good Doctor Doom. I mean he is one of the biggest threats to all marvel characters. I doubt it will ever happen though
To be fair, outside of special effects not a lot of that movie wasn’t trash and attempting to harken back to its better predecessors.
The only currently unused Marvel villain with the gravitas and gift for gab I think Spacey could have done well with is Kingpin but we are getting another very good actor with better physical dimensions for the role in Vincent D’Onofrio.
I think of the big bad guys it would have to be the ones that are barely humanoid ones where he may mostly just be doing the voice such as M.O.D.O.K or Dread Dormammu or Nightmare.
I could see him heading AIM if they decided to go down the MODOK arch, which I’d actually like to see…
