I watched a Disney plus trailer last week that showed everything being released in 2020 and Wanda vision is on it. So that seems about right

The consensus of why everyone thinks it’ll be thanksgiving weekend is
- Mando SE2 will be winding down
- Big family oriented weekend (in America anyways)
- Disney+ will be launching in Latin America the week before so it’ll be a huge selling point in a new market

I think with the controversy behind the movie, they never get their viewership numbers.
True, the remake comes out during a time where US-China relations are bad, the Hong Kong unrest is still ongoing, it was filmed in a region alleged of targeting a minority group plus apparently some say the original story’s Chinese tribe gets effectively white washed for the current dominant one. Plus on the petty side, no dragon side kick, no male love interest, no any songs and the price tag. It had a difficult road.
So I’m onto season 2 of rewatching daredevil. The two biggest things that bug me is.
1.karen losing her shit walking in on Matt, with stick and elektra. She immediately goes to he’s a scum bag, I mean he is and was cheating. But she doesn’t know this lol. Literally a bandaged up chick in his bed and old man. It was forced drama that was never needed imo
- Matt’s non belief in the war. Literally just fought ninjas… Fucking ninjas. And somehow the war doesn’t exist. This is also post the war for NY. His disbelief when he’s a walking talking superhero is always weird to me
Season 2 was garbage.
Don’t be so harsh. He can’t see the bigger picture. You could even call him a little short sighted.

The worse thing I can say about Daredevil season 2 is that it’s the Iron Man 2 of Marvel Netflix. The Elektra and Hand storyline is just there to build up Defenders. The Punisher arc is the real highlight.

I liked it. The ninja stuff was good. But obviously these two could have been totally separate seasons. Plus the lead up was fine, it doesn’t come off as really obvious to non marvel people. the defenders shoe horning iron fist into being part of the chaste was something that Uber pissed me off.
Tbf I don’t think anything they could have came up with would have been on par with season one of JJ. That shit was so good
That’s beside the point. Season 2 was garbage. I’m talking about garbage that has been baking in the trash can during the summer for a week. If it wasn’t for Season 1 of Iron Fist. It would have been the worst thing produced for Marvel Netflix.

I found the ninja stuff boring. I felt the story was dragging it’s feet and most of the focus was on Matt’s relationship with Elektra. If their chemistry didn’t do it for you there wasn’t much to sink your teeth into. The Hand raiding the hospital was best part of that whole arc.

I mean it’s kinda integral to who Matt is. I always loved the dynamic… Especially if you read the comic version of her origin. Didn’t know people weren’t down for Matt and elektra. I thought everyone just hated Matt and Karen shit
Don’t get me wrong, I was down for Matt and Elektra. I didn’t like how it was used to cause drama for Matt and Karen.

Ohh OK yeah.
Now the real question is… It’s pretty clear they are gonna do a run back of daredevil. Possibly with cox and Vincent. If they do that and replace everyone else… Will that take away the enjoyment for people? Because I think foggy is great, stick is perfect and I love elektra.
