I haven’t read Invincible Iron Man yet, but when I saw the MODOG acronym, I thought the G stood for Grilling. First thing that came to mind. Maybe because I just ate at a BBQ joint a few minutes ago.
so since we know that bru + fraction = mcbauer level writing, who is their art equivalent?
You mean pencil+ink duo?
yea or just pencil
Michael Lark and Stefano Gaudiano, baby! Straight up.
McNiven and Vines.
I also enjoyed Amazing Spider-Man: Back In Black. Seeing Spidey beat the blood out of Kingpin was just so many levels of dope. It was during this arc that Ron Garney’s art grew on him.
Only issue of Friendly Neighborhood Spidey that I read was #23. In this issue Jameson and Peter have it out and in a boxing ring to boot. It’s one of my fav Spidey issues.
Anyone else pick up the Giant Size Incredible Hulk one-shot? It’s written by Roger Stern and includes a reprint of Incredible Hulk Annual #7, which was also written by Stern.
holy shit. i can’t even begin to describe the level of ownage osborn unleashes in the new thunderbolts issues
haha…oh man this issue was golden. The best part for me was
Thunderbolts
[details=Spoiler] Swordsman: “But I’m the Baron!!!”
Osborn/Green Goblin: “BUT I’M GOD!!! HAHAHAHA”
Then Osborn proceeds to the literally crucify Swordsman against the wall. The ownage was too good
Oh yeah and on a side note, the psychics the Thunderbolts captured are using Moonstone to kill off Doc Samson and Penance since they pose a threat[/details]
Damn this day was GOOD-
SI: FF #1
Spoiler
OK issue, hope some clobberin’ takes place in the next one
Cap Britain & MI13
[details=Spoiler]AWESOME ISSUE, but uh…who are the other characters that he’s teamed up with? What series should I read to get to know them.
…Oh and Captain Britain punching off that Skrull’s head=GOD TIER![/details]
Guardians of the Galaxy
[details=Spoiler]Good issue, I really enjoyed it. Tho I HATED how that precog chick just went and said that someone was gonna die along with mentioning how it HAS to happen or the cosmos is fucked, ugh!
Next issue looks good, and here’s hoping for MOAR Cosmo[/details]
X-Men 211
Spoiler
More of Prof. X in his soul search, Gambit appears in the next ish
Legacy of Doom 2…I thought it was good
thunderbolts was INSANE
tumors the size of baby seals!
Anyone read Sky Doll yet?
Picked some stuff up yesterday but just got around to reading it a bit ago, good stuff from:
Wolverine #65 "Get Mystique 4 of 4
Spoiler
The ending was pretty awesome. Wolverine giving her the gun to off herself instead of giving her the mercy killing blow while walking away was dope. Wonder if thats the last of her we’ll see in Earth-616
Does Marvel.com post every Variant Cover of current releases on their Comic Catalog release page? I picked up X-Men:Legacy #211, with Dark Phoenix on the cover only it shows her as a Skrull and doesn’t say “Variant Cover” anywhere on it and it isn’t listed on Marvel.com
X-Men:Legacy #211 "Sins of the Father, part 1 of 3
Spoiler
The issue moved pretty slowly as I expected with him trying to restore some of his memories after being practically dead at the end of Messiah Complex and being “revived” by Exodus. Lots of flashbacks of Xaviers’s past while at the same time showing current events happening at the Hellfiire Club involving Sebastian Shaw. Gambit shows up at the end just as Xavier is about to be ambushed in his hotel room by assassins.
Oh shit, Kyo, are you rocking a 1995 Metal Magneto avvy? I know for a fact that that was on one of them X-Men card series…
Cup of Joe week 9. The X-Men are moving to San Francisco. Good news for Zephyranthes and Pained Auron.
***JM: One thing I find refreshing as all get-out: A Marvel book that doesn’t take place in Manhattan. So I’m interested in the “X-Men: Manifest Destiny” storyline that moves them to San Francisco. Now you do realize that San Francisco real estate is only slightly cheaper than Manhattan, right?
JQ: We sure do. X-Men Group Editor Axel Alonso hails from San Francisco so he knows a thing or two about SF real estate. But Warren Worthington has some deep pockets.***

Yup for sure, 1995 Fleer Ultra.
hell yea ima go hunt them down
Whooooooooole lot of Spidey coming.
I’m not sure, but I think Sano is gonna like a new Spidey <3s MJ mini.
I thought Spidey Loves MJ was on hiatus? Well this is good news and sooner than expected.
Good news indeed! The more Spidey stuff that is void of BND, the better! :woot:
