Nah he’s still around. They did a story line recently where he meets his son who happens to be black so they could have BlackFury in both universes. Then old WhiteFury retired and passed on the mantle.
What Redbeard said. Just read Battle Scars for the specifics. Despite being a forced story, it doesn’t feel forced at all and is actually a pretty good read.
IGN did an article about possible franchises for the TV series - my favorite ideas were Cloak & Dagger and Runaways.
Fantastic Four and FF after Hickman. Fraction is taking over. The new FF team is… Different. I just wish Allred was writing it too and not just penciling.
which Ant Man are we getting?
Mighty Thor 18
[details=Spoiler]Fires breaking out all over Broxton, Oklahoma. Thor tries to assist the firefighters, but realizes that these are mystical fires that can’t be extinguished with rain and snow. The flames can burn immortals such as him. Jeff Fischer, from the last arc still in his other form? writes something on the desk.
Loki and Ikol watch as burning magpies fall from the sky in Broxton. Ikol thinks of it as an omen and kid Loki wonders if it was something he would do. He then goes to Asgardia to tell Freyja that he had nothing to do with it. Freyja, told Loki that she had dreamt of her father.
Flashback to Vanaheim when Freyja was young, Odin of the Aesir traveled from Asgard in attempt to unify his Aesir and Freyr’s Vanir into a single tribe. Freyr refused, and Odin threatend him with a deadline before dawn. A desperate Freyr then travels to Muspelheim to seek aid from Surtur. He agrees to stand up against Odin for an untold price. The next day, Odin said, “What say you?”. A powered up Surtur-Freyr replies back with “We say burn” and now a battle begins between both tribes. The war ends when Freyja marries Odin in order to form peace between the two.
Back to the present Thor asks for assistance from Loki. Since he got those burns early in the story.
In Valhalla, the newly wedded Kelda and Bill witness Yggdrasil, the World Tree, burning.[/details]
X-Men Legacy will become Legion, Son of Xavier.
That’s awesome! I hope it is as crazy and good as I imagine it should be.
Sweet, always liked Legion a ton. NOw if only Emplate would get used more.
Anyone reading Spider-Men? The last issue was the best one by far.
Yeah I thought the 616 / Ultimate confrontations were well written in Spider-Men 4. Really good.

I wanted Legion in UMvC3 so bad. Could’ve been like Gen, only more insane.
Immonen’s cover for All-Star X-Men #1.
Dope and awesome interview linked from that page.
I like how its All New X-Men but its the original 5 X-Men
here’s what I see.
Maybe this is what the movies will be like.
I wonder also if this will be another “meta” type story, similar to that spidermen issue KZA mentioned. In a way, it would be almost like saying, “we’ve come back to see how awesome our storylines have gone”. Only to come into that world where not alot has happened yet. But in turn, them coming back sets things in motion for an awesome storyline to begin…hopefully
I’ve always liked stuart immonen’s work, his style has changed so much during the years but he’s always been a capable artist. Looking back at his old work on thor and next wave, you can’t even tell it was the same guy.
Right now it seems like Fox Studios wants to keep the movie rights to Galactus and Silver Surfer but Marvel Studios might get Daredevil back.
EDIT: According to Hugh Jackman the next Wolverine movie will not be a storyline sequel to X-Men Origins Wolverine. In other words that magic adamantium bullet BS never happened. Work with me here!
Looks like Marvel Studios got Daredevil back! :nunchuck:
Personally I’d rather have Galactus but oh well. Please Fox just no more big ass cloud next time. :looney:
What if Akuma made a cameo in the Wolverine?
Its funny how Fox still owns Elektra also.
Akuma in Wolverine’s movie would be nice in theory but after Dragon Ball Evolution I’d be very scared about letting Fox touch another Japanese character…
Even though I foolishly hope to see Lynn Kurosawa every time I go see an Aliens or Predator movie.
Whatchamean she’s not in Prometheus? Well hey if I understood what the point of that movie was (um, they don’t even go to the same planet from Alien 1 in Prometheus seriously look it up) I’d probably be even more upset.
Prometheus was still a good modern day SciFi flick IMHO even if it was Ridleyculous.
That’s messed up if they still own Elektra. I don’t even think their Daredevil is that bad (well, not Ghost Rider movies bad let’s say) but aside from casting Jennifer Garner they really messed up Elektra. They took Rucka and Yoshitaka Amano’s The Redeemer story and ruined it beyond reason. It has to be one of the worst adaptations of all time.
Ha Yoshitaka Amano of Final Fantasy and Gatchaman fame. And another time Fox got their hands on a Japanese thing. Okay now I’m against Lynn Kurosawa showing up in the sequel to Prometheus.

Oh wow, Joe Kubert passed away today. (Is this old news already? I have no idea how quickly this forum moves.)
I was reading some essentially Sgt Rock collection recently…that is just a fun comic to read. Big time name.
