I know about Klaw mainly from the original Secret Wars from the '80s, he played a big part there. He’s wasn’t quite the energy monster the cartoon showed though, but maybe he’ll change into something more human-like on the show down the road.

Ulysses Klaw has been a cool villain to me, his origin and Black Panther’s are inseparable in the comics. In the comics, Klaw killed BP’s dad in order to enslave his people and use them to mine the Vibranium, for personal use and to make dat $. (As far as I remember, Man-Ape wasn’t involved and was created later on to flesh out his rogues gallery, but I could be wrong on both matters, to lazy to Wiki and check my facts).
Forced to leave his homeland, he gets the Fantastic Four’s assistance in the matter and rightfully reclaims his land. It was significant as it was Marvel’s first real Black Superhero at a time when this was unheard of, and the fact that he wasn’t stereotypical and was actually cool made it the more better.
Over time Klaw’s constant use of his gun, and through various power-up’s, resulted in him becoming a being of pure sound, and he’s now virtually immortal. It wasn’t something that happened early mind you, but the show is more or less following the same outline and having the same conclusions.
I haven’t seen the episode yet, and I have no idea when re-run’s happen so I’ll keep a look out.

Lmaoo simple Jack gone mad hahahahh
It sounded weird to me that they said he’s made of pure sound. If he’s made of pure sound meaning sound only, then why can we see him? Sound is invisible.

Dro - Yeah Wolverine’s been fun. Good to see a lot of missing faces in Hell.
Sensei Rouzu - Comic books and cartoons are visual mediums. Don’t over think it.
You know what else I always wondered, is why can we still see the Invisible Woman when she is invisible? Artists usually seem to draw her with either dotted lines, or as a transparent ghost. Rarely, if ever, is she completely invisible. Same thing goes for Wonder Woman’s invisible plane.
Actually, why does a Wonder Woman need an invisible plane when she can fly? WHY!!!

Not yet, I want to just to see Sabretooth pop up (I know he will, and I miss Creed).
Dude it’s a comic, I don’t see people flying around busting buildings in real life only to be felled by a tiny green rock. It’s all good son =D
You know why Claremont just need to stop writing? Ghost Panther is now revealed

Catching up on classics.
Old man logan was amazing.
Planet hulk. Also amazing. ESP since I read wWh before o read ph.
Anything else I should catch up on? I’m getting wolverine enemy of the state soon. Any good deadpool or xmen tpb? I know nothing about either.
Also, Wolverine’s claws. Are they flat like knives? or are they round like an ice-pick?
How come the X-men uniforms aren’t uniform (except maybe back in 1964)?
Off thread topic but The Mega Diaper Babies are fucking awesome. Don’t forget Action League Now!
They will always be the shit in my book. Marvel should pick them up and make a comic out of them, I’d buy every single one.

Start off with New X-Men by Grant Morrison and after that check out Astonishing X-Men by Whedon. Both are available as seperate TPBs or omnibus books that collect the entire runs in one shot.
For Deadpool get anything by Fabian Nicieza and Reilly Brown. Not sure where you should start, maybe just see what’s in your LCS. I recently read Deadpool vs. The Marvel Universe and got a kick out of it. There’s a Deadpool & Cable Ultimate collection which has all 18 issues in one shot of that series too.

I really like Joe Kelly’s deadpool stuff…
If you liked Planet Hulk, check out the follow up Incredible Hercules stuff! It is very funny. Greg Pak and Fred La Vente arevery solid writers who seem to have an encyclopedic familiarity with international mythology (helps to be tolerable of of their creative liberties). After Incredible Herc, the Siege and Chaos Wars are great follow ups!
X-men, Messiah Complex, Messiah War and Second coming… so good. I also liked Chuck Austen’s run. The story of squid boy got me a little verklempt, but it was his dealing with Jugg, Northstar, Havok and other characters that I really enjoyed.

Question for Wolverine goes to hell
Spoiler
I am assuming Sabretooth has or will pop up, I am wondering if the series as a whole is pretty good and if he plays a significant role in it. Also is there any business talk of him returning along with Logan? Victor Creed is far and beyond my favorite villain, and I want him to return to prominence in the X-Men universe.

Yeah Wolverine Goes To Hell has been fun like I said. Some surprises too.
Wolvie in Hell
Spoiler
Mariko being in Hell was quite a surprise but it makes perfect sense since she ran the Yashida Clan which was a yakuza / crime family.
My favourite Chuck Austen story on Uncanny X-Men was when the Church of Humanity enacted a heinous plan successfully install Nightcrawler as the Pope and also to poison all the communion wafers in the world to make all the Catholics vapourize into the air simultaneously while causing Nightcrawler’s hologram disguise to fail making all the remaining Catholics think that the end times where here and a devil was their Pope and destroy the Catholic church or something.
That was probably the most well thought out and freshest idea in comic books I have ever read in my entire life. Just like most of Chuck Austen’s run on X-Men, which I would put right up there with Claremont/Byrne, Alan Moore/anyone, Loeb/Madureira, and Neil Gaiman’s Sandman.
Just amazingly subtle and exquisite comic book scripting.
Also amazing was that story he wrote about Nightcrawler’s demon father wanting to escape Hell so he regularly escapes and breeds teleporting bastard children to help him find a way to escape Hell. Also an incredibly tightly scripted story.
