AHVB and pushblocks are not issues. You end all pressure chains with s.fierce into bonerang. That puts you at the right place so they’ll have to block the bonerang. They can push you away, but the bonerang stays in the same place and that lasts for 2-3 hits (I forget the number exactly). You actually recover before the bonerang stops hitting, and can run in for another pressure chain. Combined with an assist like Sentinel, Marrow is actually good for three pressure chains in a row, and unlike Wolverine there is no real way out. If they try to pushblock to attempt a guard cancel, then throw the bonerang immediately. Pushblocking is ineffective on Marrow.
i guess i’ll have to work on it some more. ho hum… it’s hard when i’m the only one in my area that plays her… if i could only see another marrow player. i’d much rather see things than read from a bulletin board.
love that command throw on a flying sent
how well do you play with marrow, dasrik? i don’t know any marrow players either. i haven’t seen an effective one, and i think mine’s not so good.
I don’t really have a good Marrow. Joe Zaza used to play Marrow a lot. She’s very Wolverine-ish. She’s actually safer than Wolverine. Come to think of it, most oldschool pixie characters are better than Wolverine in the respect that they don’t put their bodies on the line at the ends of their pressure chains.
Marrow ends with Bonerang
Psylocke ends with Psiflash
Felicia ends with Sand Splash
Those are characters whose main strat is dial-a-combo blocked strings with assists. Wolverine has to end his with BB, if he even ends it at all. Guardcanceling seriously nerfs autopilot Wolvie.
