Might have a lead on some free aluminum Gamecube carrying cases - look like they can easily be converted to carry sticks, games, &c. (metal outside, two locks, foam inside - from the pictures it’s a bit wider than 2 DVD cases, and deep enough for a GC, so it looks like it could fit a TE stick) If anybody’s interested I should have one next week to make sure they’re suitable, and I can check and see if there are more in stock - our distro at work is just trying to clear up warehouse space, so once I make sure we’re not actually paying anything I can get more if they have some remaining.

Capcom’s way of handling the AE DLC confuses me. I mean, I study Psyc not game developing so I’m not going to sit here and pretend to go on about how they should have done it this way because it’s easier, but it seems to me that they’re creating an online elitist world with letting the AE owners decide if they want to mingle with the Super 4 folk or not.
Super players already get to decide if they want to play vanilla. How is this different? New characters, new balance - I think it’s sort of amazing that you can opt to go back to Super if you want (kind of wish Vanilla was included, just for shits.) Also I don’t think you’ll see many players w/o AE after about a month? ALSO DUDLEY IS BETTER NOW

Nah, I just figured Capcom would give everyone the updates, and only those who bought the DLC would be able to play as the new characters and use the new replay feature. I didn’t expect Capcom to split the community between the AE’s and non AE’s and let the AE’s have the option of mingling with the non AE’s or not. Again though, I don’t study anything about the gaming industry so I have no idea if this was the easiest way for them to do it or if it makes the most sense or whatever.
It rather gives the incentive for people to upgrade
Hello. I live in Calgary, but my GF is taking to Newbrunswick to meet her parents in September. They live 1hr outside of monkton(spelling) was wondering If thier is a scene for SF around, there well im down?
I agree with Kyle. Spilling the community again blows. Each time more and more people will stop playing the game. Maybe they are all online warriors who play it for fun and this will not hurt the tournament scene much, but I think the more people playing the game the better.
Buffs and Nerfs should be free. Characters and whatever else $.

7CDN: There is a NB scene, but I don’t know how many are from Moncton. Many are from St John. Hit up the fIGHT fOR iNFINITY group to talk to the NBers directly. They don’t post much on SRk, the bums.
If that’s their reasoning for it, then that’s just rubbish. Not that it matters, I’ll be buying the AE DLC anyway.
There’s a tournament in Saint john in September. I can give you a ride from Moncton to and back if you want. Other than that I have a few cabs and host game nights at my place.
