Shout outs to Ottawa, you’re our new rival, and we’ll definitely be running it back during MAT so Dryph and I can at least get some revenge. Also, shout outs to the Toronto guys, Contra for kicking my ass every which way, and everyone also for letting us chill in the hotel room and drink and play games until 5:30. Shit was mad hype.
I picked up a nice new headset for my PC over the holidays, so I ordered some adapters to use it on the PS3 and 360:

17K for a 3 month turn around time. Even pre ordering a single soft kit(New single kit’s allow head to head play. Which is about damn time) which comes out in March isn’t worth it.
It’s also worth mentioning the pre order’s for the next march batch ended yesterday. So their not much chance of acquiring one before June.
Edit: FYI soft kits cost 6K. You can get a Type X2 used for 600$ or buy mine.

As we have a bit of time on our hands, we’re going to match each player of each team with every member of the opposite team, best 2/3, then tally the score. Most points wins. Will there be money on the line? That will be decided on Saturday.

Rewatched the match where I got blown up on stream. I got seriously mindfucked. I could have sworn he was SPD’ing me all over the place, and it certainly felt like it, but really I just failed at blocking crossups. Setups that I even know can ONLY be crossups. Ugh. Messed up so much not even just execution but just decision making. Time to go back to the lab and stop being such a scrub.
I like the attitude shrub, but don’t be too hard on yourself. Buddah is an excellent player, not sure there’s anyone of his caliber in Halifax. Just takes practice. The more you come out to tournaments and gain experience, the better you’ll become.
Simply put, his hat was too much to overcome.
A friend of mine ordered both of these for the same reasons and they work perfectly. There is some weird sequence of plugging it in to make it work, the controller needs to be plugged in first, the connected to the stick or something to this effect, and there’s no guide functionality (PS2 didn’t have a guide button though). For the price it’s much better than you’d find anywhere else. the site also has free shipping, but since it’s from Hong Kong it takes about a month to arrive.
